I want to start off by saying what a great freaking book this was. It had a little bit of everything without it being overdone and kept me turnin’ pages. I don’t want to get too much into the book because I definitely think it deserves a read but I will tell you a little about it.

April is interning at a gaming company when she attends Comic-Con. Due to drama in her life she throws caution to the drunken wind and has a very hot and steamy night with a man, who is dressed up in character as one of the characters for the gaming company she works at! She never see’s his face but she will NEVER forget his assets. Did I mention that in her drunkenness, she thought it would be a great idea to videotape the whole escapade without the guy knowing it…well, she did! Later that week, she must start a new position at her company to the CFO, Jordan who she has been crushing on from afar….but not before her whole world comes crashing down when her roommate finds something on the internet.

Jordan is partner in a top gaming company with his best friend and they are about to take the company public on the NYSE when a video tape pops up on the internet of an employee and an unidentified woman, well, she can be identified by a certain tattoo in a certain place, having a hot couple of minutes. It wreaks havoc on the companies chances of now going public. But the kicker of it is….he knows who the unidentified woman is and who the masked caper is she is having sex with. Yep,you guessed it…it is him and April. Only now she is his assistant and he knows she saw the video but she does NOT know it was him behind the mask…..Needless to say she is mortified that the video has surfaced, she thinks she “accidentally” put it online and is desperately trying to figure out who it was she had sex with on tape!

This book kept me on my toes. I was waiting for April to find out who the masked man was and what would happen when she finds out its her “beast” of a boss Jordan. The attraction between them is scorching and I didn’t want to put the book down. There are other outside forces that have a part in the book but you will just have to read it to find out what led up to the events of the making of the video and the repercussions when everyone finds out not only who the woman is but the masked man! What a funny, drama filled read! Will definitely be reading more by this author.

He was kissing me. My boss. The man I loathed. That smoking hot dude in the swim trunks with the surfer’s bod. He was kissing me.

My lips were bruising and swelling from the pressure he put on them as he forced my mouth open and slid his tongue inside. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to resist that all-consuming tingling feeling that was starting at the back of my throat, slithering down my spine, coiling in my center like a traitorous snake. I may have been annoyed with him, but this kiss and his hold on me aroused me in seconds.

Jordan’s arm remained locked around my rib cage, pressing me against him. The other hand traveled down my back, sliding along the silky material of my dress to fondle my ass. A low growl rose in the back of his throat and suddenly I was finding it hard to remain standing.

In my mind, I tried to summon up the memories of all those times he sent me back to the coffee shop. Considering it was almost every damn day, you wouldn’t think it would be that difficult. But his smell—that hint of spice and sage and a salty tang—filled my nose, turning my insides into warm goo.

His breath was coming fast, and that mouth—those lips, that tongue—were doing wicked things to me. All at once I was aching, from my breasts to the dull throb between my legs. Aching with desire, hot, thick and heavy.

There was a fire in my belly that only he could put out. The feel of his solid abs against my rib cage, his hot arousal against my stomach. His mouth teasing mine and never letting up. Everything in my body trembled and everything inside my brain was taking a back seat to this new feeling of pure, seething lust.
