So this was my second ever M/M book and since I liked my first one so much I decided to go for it again—- and boy am I so glad I did. I wish more people would take a chance on this style of book because with this book in particular the love story is totally believable and I found myself falling in love with the characters. I finished this book in 24 hours- I was reading it on my kindle and then on my phone when I was at a place where it would be inappropriate to pull out my kindle.

So the story revolves around Trent Cooper who runs his own electrical business and is currently taking care of his sister’s children after the death of her and her husband. From the very beginning you can just tell how much of a loyal, honest family man Trent is—- and to me that is one sexy characteristic for a guy to have. Trent tries to ensure that he provides and gives the kids the best life he can while he still tries to heal from his sister’s untimely death, tries to grow his business, and hopes that someday he may just find someone to share this life with. Gage Synclair is a well known investigative journalist who is ready to take his career to the next step after finally being close to closing a special report that has been years in the making. When Trent is hired to do the electrical work at Gage’s gallery that he is opening it is only a matter of time before the sparks between the two men get acted on. The chemistry between the two men is off the hook!! There were some scenes where I felt I may need to start fanning myself!

I really enjoyed reading this book!! I loved how the love story between Trent and Gage didn’t feel rushed and it grew organically. Along with their love story I absolutely loved that there was lot of interaction with the children as well. They are such a big part of Trent’s life that I love how Kindle made them a big part of the book as well. I wish I could sit here and tell you my favorite scene but then I would just be telling you the whole book. Along with the love story between Trent and Gage there was another storyline happening that left me at first filled with questions- then had me on the edge of my seat, and then finally it had my jaw dropped. Honestly do yourself a favor and read this book- if you have never read an M/M book now this would be a fantastic one to make your first!
