The Lessons by Elizabeth Brown
Things weren’t exactly going according to my Plan, so I did what most Americans do when confronted with a problem: I hired someone else to fix it.
Except ‘it’ was my virginity.
And that ‘someone else’ was a sex surrogate.
I should have known the answer wouldn’t be that simple.

I don’t know where to start with this story..
I was at first hesitant to take it on, because I had not heard of the author before…but then I thought, I like finding new authors and giving them a try…and I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID.
Natalie is a thirty year old virgin who her “life plan” has gotten off track.
So she has made the decision to make changes in her life and moves across the U.S. From New York to California and then hires a “sex surrogate” to help her cross off something else on her plan…”lose virginity”. Little did she know that her surrogate was going to be a hottie named Ryan Edwards.
I loved how the author writes in both points of views of the two main characters.
And some of the funny stuff that is in Natalie’s inner thoughts had me laughing out loud, and then the sexy stuff that Ryan did with Natalie, had me changing my panties.
Just some examples of some of the things that went through Natalie’s head during a “lesson”…
Nice? Yes, that was nice! So why the fuck did you stop? I wanted to scream. But I couldn’t betray what my body was thinking, so I took a deep breath and mirrored him. “Yes. Nice.”
And something else that made me giggle during the story,
“Yes, I called him mine. He’d put his mouth on my vagina, and I was feeling a little territorial about the whole thing. Sue me.”
So those are just some of the examples of why I loved this story so much. It is a great, fun read that is sexy as well. It is about forbidden love…Ryan is her “therapist” and can’t have feelings for Natalie. Or can he?
