The moment I read this book’s blurb I immediately signed up to read this book and I am so glad I did. This book has it all- HOT alpha male, strong female lead, sexual tension, hot sex, great storyline, and so much more! I couldn’t wait to start this book and when I did I did not want to put it down. I finished this book in 2 days and now days after reading it I am still thinking about the characters.
Sometimes it takes the most horrific of event to happen to help us get on the path that we need to be to find the one who we should be with. Miller Spurlock, former Navy SEAL, and total badass is the main man in Execution Style. Miller is currently a police offer and member of the SWAT team helping protect the citizens. When the unthinkable happens in public to Mercy Shepherd, Miller immediately feels the need to be there for her and help her heal. He doesn’t understand where this need is coming from but being a true man does not hide from it. Mercy Shepherd, who is loved by many in the community, is trying to piece together her life after a traumatic experience and finds herself constantly turning to Miller. Can Miller, the man who wasn’t looking for love, be the one person to help Mercy piece her life together again?
This book starts off with a huge bang and continues the fast pace throughout the entire book. From the very first chapter I could not put this book down but I kept thinking about the characters wondering what was going to happen. There were times when I felt bad for Mercy because I just wanted her to get a break in life but that’s real life for you; sometimes we don’t get the breaks we want or feel we deserve and it’s how we handle those situations that make us who we are. I loved that Mercy was such a strong character, don’t get me wrong she had a moment or two where she questioned things but hey what female doesn’t! I absolutely feel in love with Miller- he was such an awesome guy! I forgot that this book was actually number 4 in the series but didn’t feel lost at all while I read it. If anything, getting to know the other characters makes me want to go back to the first book and read all the books. I highly recommend this book!
