This is the second book in this series and can be read as a standalone.
Quinn is a young woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Growing up she was always a tomboy following her Dad around his garage watching him fix cars until her mother dies of cancer and now she is left picking up the pieces.
Her Dad has become a full blown alcoholic not being able to handle the mothers death and she has to watch him nonstop so he doesn’t hurt himself. She also has taken over his garage and employees trying to not let it go under but things are going from bad to worse.
Custom car builder Tazen swoops in and immediately Quinn and he get off on the wrong foot. Which for Quinn stinks because she is a HUGE, HUGE fan of his. He announces that he will be buying her dad’s garage and turning it into one of his custom bike garages.
This does not sit well with Quinn and she literally goes toe to toe with him, waging war against him….she will not lose the garage, the only piece of her parents she has left.
Their attraction to each other is palpable and it is fun to see them walking that fine line of love and hate. The sex scenes were decent and although it dragged a few times it still kept my attention with the need to know if love would win out over hate. Definitely a good beach read and Ill be looking forward to reading more in this series.
