Miller “Buck” Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he’s ready for a girlfriend. A real, non-bunny girlfriend to take on dates, and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.
Miller thinks he’s found that woman in his teammate’s sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters—who happens to date his stepsister, Miller’s media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn’t know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.
Miller learns—eventually—that if he wants to make Sunshine “Sunny” Waters fall for him, he’s going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.

Buck Butterson has it made. He’s playing professional hockey. He’s making good money. He’s dating his sister’s fiancé’s sister, Sunny Waters. Except she’s not actually his girlfriend. Buck has hundreds of puck bunnies fawning all over him everywhere he goes and Sunny doesn’t believe he’ll be faithful with everything she sees on social media. Buck comes across as a manwhore. Can Buck overcome Sunny’s fears and the reservations of her friends and brother?
“She contracts around my fingers, showing me what she was about to tell me. Sunny’s eyes meet mine, wide with shock. I don’t know why she’s always so surprised when she comes, like it’s unexpected.
She releases my arm and grabs my shoulders, pulling me forward until our lips collide. Her tongue shoots into my mouth, twisting with mine as she moans. I feel like the motherpucking man.
That is until she breaks the kiss, flops back in the chair, and says, ‘I kinda hate that you’re so good at that.’”
I am loving the Pucked series because it’s raunchy, sexy and hilarious. The hockey players act like a bunch of frat guys who you want to slap upside the head because they won’t stop drawing penises on each other when they are drunk. Sunny is the all-natural flower girl who is vegan and uses only products that don’t harm animals. She’s been sheltered by her family her entire life and I loved seeing how that was going to merge with the “player” that Buck had become. There are too many situations that had me almost peeing my pants because Violet has no censor and when she starts oversharing with her brother…I just wanted to die.
If you find humor in being caught naked and various rashes, you’ll really love Pucked Up. There’s even a guest appearance of the MC for those of you who read Pucked! Be sure you don’t miss these two books and we have Pucked Over coming in January 2016.
