Audrey Brown is an intelligent Registered Nurse living in Surf City, USA, who puts her career ahead of her love life. That is until pro-surfer, Chad Slater, gets wheeled into her emergency room and shakes down her formidable walls. But can her sex life go from zero to 69 with an ex-husband seeking revenge for her sending him to prison?

Chad has just the right mix of sexual charisma and determination to make all of Audrey’s dreams come true. This upbeat story includes humorous undertones with nail-biting suspense and enough sexual heat to make you stay up all night reading. Readers’ romantic partners will find benefits, too!

“Baby, this is our night and you’re mine to heal. I’ll pick up the pieces of your shattered heart and put it back together. A piece of you I’ll keep for myself and replace it with a piece of me. I love you.” I kiss her quivering lips.

Audrey is a nurse who has a rough past. Her ex-husband abused her and she was lucky to escape their marriage alive. Chad Slater is a pro surfer and quite the ladies’ man. After he ends up in the ER, they seem to be destined to be together. But with an ex that has threatened to kill her, she can’t risk Chad getting hurt and with Chad’s wild ways, can he be a one woman man? Can these two actually be together?

“I’m awestruck into silence. Straight ahead is the most incredible sight I’ve ever seen. Chad in person is even better than my dreams. Twelve long years. That’s how long I’ve fantasized about this Adonis.

He’s tall with broad shoulders. Sun-bleached tips of blond hair are raked back in a quick move with one hand. God, he’s sexy as he tries to keep the ocean water from dripping down his face.

Below his chiseled face, he wears a rash guard with his sponsor’s logo. Deliciously tight. I can see each muscle ripple in his chest as he runs toward us. Then the flex and relax movements of his large back and shoulder muscles as he turns away. I wish I could see his pelvic region, but it’s hidden behind his surfboard. Damn.”

This story flipped me out. Just ask my friends because the angst was so strong that I had to talk it out…you know those books. I have never read about a pro surfer and Chad has women throwing themselves at him to the point of trying to sexually assault him. Audrey and Chad have tons of chemistry and the sex scenes are very hot. The secrets they keep from each other cause a lot of misunderstandings and running away…therefore, angst. There is a cliffhanger at the end so it’s great that the second book is out so you can jump right in.

If you like emotional, sexy books, I think you’ll enjoy this one. There is a lot of crazy stuff that happens that keeps your attention riveted to the story. You will want to dive into the next one.

The waves of suspense, hot sex scenes, and humorous undertones continue in this second book of the intensely erotic, Waves Trilogy.

When Audrey learns her ex-husband Matt is released early from prison, she enters survival mode. Her only salvation is Chad, but if he can’t control his urges or people from his past, this couple doesn’t stand a chance.

Love, fate, destiny are all factors in their whirlwind romance. With many unexpected struggles their connection never dies. Both Chad and Audrey learn nothing worth having is easy and the blood, sweat, and tears prove this to be true.

Audrey and Chad can’t seem to stay away from each other. But Audrey has a mission. She needs to deal with her ex, Matt, before she can move on with her life. Chad figures out that Audrey needs her space to take care of her past so they can move forward. He thinks they are soulmates and wants to be with her forever. Will they be able to move forward despite all of the circumstances and other people who seem to want to interfere with them ending up together?

“I’m sorry that I can’t be what you need. I can’t be a normal girl in a normal situation.”

“You are what I need. I want you to be with me always. Don’t you realize that by now? I love you. I’ve never said that to anyone else and I never will.”

“I love you too, but sometimes love isn’t enough. Sometimes, situations occur that you can’t rewind and make better.”

“Baby, you can’t start the next chapter of your life, if you keep re-reading the last one. Let go of the past and believe in our future together.”

“You make it sound so simple.”

“I simply can’t get enough of you and I can’t live without you.”

We continue with a lot more drama. I wonder if Chad and Audrey will ever catch a break with all of the other people wanting to crash into their lives. They have panty scorching sex scenes but things keep driving them apart. I think I blew up instant messenger discussing these two characters’ lives. It’s silly how invested I am. There is another cliffhanger at the end but I think book three comes out this year.

Very crazy. Amazing surf god and gorgeous RN. You might just want to check this one out.
