These Royals will ruin you…
Ella Harper is a survivor―a pragmatic optimist. She’s spent her whole life moving from town to town with her flighty mother, struggling to make ends meet and believing that someday she’ll climb out of the gutter. After her mother’s death, Ella is truly alone.
Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.
Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.
He might be right.
Wealth. Excess. Deception. It’s like nothing Ella has ever experienced, and if she’s going to survive her time in the Royal palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

This is book one in the Royals series and already I am addicted! I absolutely loved everything about this book. It’s filled with so many twists, tons of angst, a boatload of drama, love, lust and revenge and the ultimate betrayal. You know a book is good and a series is going to be great when you open that first page and you just can’t put it down until your done. I finished it at like three in the morning and immediately stalked the Authors facebook page to try and find the release date for the second book. This book did end with a huge ass cliffhanger, but that way took away from how much I loved it. It just pissed me off a little bit lol.
Ella hasn’t had the easiest up- bringing and at seventeen she is on her own after losing her Mom to cancer. So she is doing whatever she needs to do to survive, pay the bills and finish high school. No matter what she knows she wants to make something of herself. Things are going as good as the possibly can considering the situation she is in until one day she is called to the principal’s office and all that changes when a man named Callum Royal presents papers claiming to be her legal guardian. When he makes her an offer she can’t possibly refuse she is suddenly thrust into the world of the Royals, a world she never imagined. Where wealth and privilege and in abundance.
“You should know whatever game you’re playing, you can’t win. Not against all of us. If you leave now, you won’t be hurt. If you stay, we’ll break you so bad that you’ll be crawling away.”
Callum Royal has five sons and to say they were unwelcoming is a huge understatement. Reed is basically the ring leader and they are the it guys at the school four of them still attend. They don’t know what Ella’s game is or what she wants but they make it crystal clear they don’t want her there. What they aren’t prepared for is how Ella gives it right back to them, she isn’t about to tuck tail and run. She is a fighter, but can she survive a world where the Royals rule?
“The Royal boys are not what I expected. They don’t look like rich pricks in preppy clothes. They look like terrifying thugs who can snap me like a twig.”
Something happens and things start changing as the Royals realize Ella isn’t going anywhere and when Reed basically gives his approval that she can be trusted all the others start to protect her instead of alienating her. Reed and Ella had some crazy intense sexual tension that was building the whole book and when things finally cross the line it’s time to cue all the insanity. Lies are told, bonds are tested and things will never be the same.
“These Royals will ruin you.”
Everything about this book was so addicting, I loved it. I can’t wait to see what happens next for Ella and the Royal’s. Especially after that cliffhanger we were left with, I need the second book bad. Fantastic start to a new series!
“Maybe I want to be ruined.”
