★★ NOW LIVE★★
*A modern love story inspired by Romeo and Juliet*
Two weeks before her wedding, Remi Montague’s fiancé drops her faster than a drunken sorority girl in stilettos. Armed with her best friend and a bottle of tequila, she hops a plane to London to drown her sorrows before fall semester begins at Whitman University.
She didn’t plan on attending a masquerade party.
She sure didn’t plan on waking up next to the British bad boy who broke her heart three years ago—the devastatingly handsome and naked Dax Blay. Furthermore, she has no clue how they acquired matching tattoos.
Once back at Whitman together, they endeavor to pretend they never had their night of unbridled passion in London.
But that’s damn hard to do when you live in the same house…
One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.

The British are back, the British are back! Thank you Isla Madden Mills! We first meet the Blay siblings in Dirty English which centers around one half of the super sexy Blay men, Declan and the love of his life Elizabeth. Now it’s time for Dax’s story. And oh hot damn what a story it was. I am a huge fan of this Author’s writing and have read and loved all her books so far. Needless to say I was so excited when I heard this one was coming out and once again she did not disappoint. I loved Dax and Remi’s story!
A few weeks before her wedding Remi’s fiancé Hartford dumps her over dinner at their favorite restaurant. So she and her bestie LuLu decide not to waste the honeymoon and jump on a plane to London determined to have a good time and to get Remi’s mind of hairy Hartford. Let the tequila flow and the man hunt begin.
“ We were over. Like pay phones and Mom jeans.”
On their first night in London the girls decide to hit up a Masquerade club. After way too much tequila Remi and plenty of flirting Remi ends up making out with a sexy stranger. Yet there’s something so familiar about the kiss.
“ He was the king of kissing. The supreme ruler.”
Something about her lips were familiar to him and Dax knew it was definitely her as soon as they kissed. What the hell was Remi doing halfway around the world when she was supposed to be getting married? And how the hell in a club full of willing women did he end up making out with the one he had a three-night fling with three years ago? The one no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t forget.
“ Fate had found me and kicked me in the stomach-hell, she’d just tossed me to the wolves.”
No way in hell was Remi going to let herself get sucked back into the vortex of Dax. Three years ago she niavely thought she loved him and he possibly could love her. But she learned as soon as she closed his frat house door that it could never be. I mean this was Dax the hottest most eligible bachelor at Whitman, The University they both attended together. The one she had been avoiding him at for three years and then she runs into him in London of all places? But when something happens Dax and Remi form sort of friendship but the sexual tension between them is still there and crazy intense. What happens when Dax realizes maybe Remi is really what he wants? But throw in an ex fiancé and an unexpected living situation and shit gets crazy. Will Remi follow her heart or is she too afraid to have it shattered?
“She was my light, my breath. She was my Juliet.” Only we’d have a happy ending. I’d make sure of it.”
Without much thought except for comfort, instinctively I pressed myself against him, fitting into his arms as easy as breathing. He leaned against the brick wall of the neighboring building and wrapped me up, sensing my need to be grounded.
I don’t know how long we stood like that—maybe a minute, maybe five—but soon our breaths were in sync; the rise and fall of his chest in perfect accord with mine.
One of his hands traced down my spine and then up. He outlined my shoulder blades with his fingertips. His hands drifted to my hips then caressed back up to my hair, massaging my scalp.
But what had started as an innocent hug changed.
Fire licked my skin everywhere he touched. Of their own accord, my hands slid down to his waist and teased the line where his jeans rested on his hips. I went further, my fingers toying with the V at his hip until I felt him harden against me.
Lips brushed the top of my hair. “Remi . . . look at me,” he said, his voice raspy.
If you look up, you’re going to kiss him . . .
I tilted my head up and his mouth fused with mine in an instant.
Insistent. Wild. Hot. Yes! This is what I needed.
I groaned, and my hands rushed to his shoulders and dug in.
He was wrong—terribly wrong—for me, but it felt so right.
I felt wonderfully alive, revved up, as if I could crush a car with my bare hands, or push Dax against the wall and fuck him senseless. I recognized the feeling for what it was—an I almost-died-and-now-I-want-to-experience-life feeling.
“Wait,” he breathed as I ran my hand under his shirt. “It’s adrenaline. You’ve been through a trauma. You don’t really want this—”
“Shhh.” I lifted his shirt and kissed his chest, my tongue flicking over his nipple. “You taste like every good thing I’ve ever wanted.”
His taut restraint snapped, and he swayed into me. “God, I can’t tell you no.”
