Handsome brunet with his sensual wife

Blurb:

From USA Today Bestselling author, MJ Fields, comes a gripping story of love and it’s many truths.

Once upon a time, Luke Lane loved a little, stubborn, delusional girl, and that little girl was me. My fairytale happy ever after always included my black-haired, blue-eyed, knight in shining armor, and that knight was Luke Lane. Then I grew up and convinced myself that it wasn’t a fairytale after all. It was Fate.

I twisted Fate to make her story come to life, but Fate fought back, and now I am looking at a man I still love, but he doesn’t feel the same. I have to walk away. Not just for me, but for him. And not for the version of him who broke my heart, but for the version who was truly a knight in shining armor to the little girl I was, so many fairy tales ago.

I can say this book ruined me . It has literally been a week and I’m still trying to find the right words to put this review together. This was my first M.J Fields book and I will be going back to read her other series that contain these characters. I want to know their full back stories and what makes them who they are. Now, with that being said 27 Truths can be read as a standalone, that was how I read it.

27 Truths is a book that is raw, gritty and real. It shows you that love is not always pretty, it’s emotional, heartbreaking and devours you whole. Ava’s story broke me. I was bawling my eyes out by the end, but I couldn’t put it down. There is so much emotion in between each page of this book it was impossible for me not to feel for her. Yeah she makes some stupid choices, but haven’t we all at some point in our lives?

I recommend this book if are looking for something that makes you think about what love is to you. If you are looking for something full of emotion and it will make you cry. And most importantly you have to love angst, this book is full of it. Take the journey with Ava to uncover her 27 Truths about love and how it’s not always a pretty journey. I know I can’t wait to see what M.J writes next for The Truth About Love Series.
