Graham Gallagher has seen it all. And when tragedy struck, lost it all. He’s been the backbone of his brothers, the one they all rely on in their lives and business. And when it comes to falling in love and creating a life, he knows what it’s like to have it all and watch it crumble. He’s done with looking for another person to warm his bed, but apparently he didn’t learn his lesson because the new piercer at Montgomery Ink tempts him like no other.
Blake Brennen may have been born a trust fund baby, but she’s created a whole new life for herself in the world of ink, piercings, and freedom. Only the ties she’d thought she’d cut long ago aren’t as severed as she’d believed. When she finds Graham constantly in her path, she knows from first glance that he’s the wrong kind of guy for her. Except that Blake excels at making the wrong choice and Graham might be the ultimate temptation for the bad girl she’d thought long buried.

Love Restored in about the brooding man Graham. He isn’t always the most pleasant man to be around considering he is always grouchy and seems to take everything out on whoever is around him at the time. When Blake shows up to show them around the home she is wanting to get restored so it can be sold, Graham was anything but nice but he found her attractive. Then when he enters Montgomery Ink and finds that she works there, he knows he has two choices, stay away from the very alluring Blake or see if she will forgive him for being an ass and see where it goes.
If you loved the Montgomery Ink Series you are going to love this series. I love how both intertwine but can also be read by themselves. I’m glad Carrie is giving the Gallagher Brothers their own books because really, who doesn’t love hot construction workers?! I love the banter between the brothers and how they are all so close.
This book for me was great! It was a fairly quick read packed with a story of Graham finding what he wants out of life again. Years ago he went through a crushing lose and never fully over come that, but Blake seems to the be women to help him see that there can be light in his life again. Love Restored for sure pulled on my heart strings more than once and I truly enjoyed it. The only thing that made me give it 4 stars was the abrupt ending. I would have liked to have seen a little more added to the end because there was a big climax at the end and then it seemed to end. Yes it has an HEA and isn’t a cliffy but I just wanted a little more.
