Four lives. Four stories. Four sets of letters. Four brave souls in need of guidance while facing life’s greatest challenges.
The anonymously published Dear Life program is designed to help them step outside of their comfort zones, face their obstacles, and relinquish their demons…and prove their existence.
With their lives teetering between wanting more and losing it all, all four souls dive into the program as a New Year’s resolution, sending them on a crazy, life-altering journey.
Dear Life,
Please be kind.
Yours truly, Hollyn, Jace, Daisy, and Carter.

Wow…ok…well this was definitely not what I was expecting and I mean that in a good way. This book was not the norm for this author. It was heart wrenching, deep, soul searching, profound…I could just go on and on. It was gripping from the first page until the very last. I laughed, I shed a tear or 5 million, I smiled, I felt content and anxiety and the same time…It was a real book. With real feelings and emotions and struggles.

There are 4 people….each with there own stories and hardships There paths cross at a meeting at Dear Life…a program to help you get past fears and demons that are holding you back in life…from keeping you from the best possible version of yourself. They could not be further from having anything in common with each other except for the fact their lives are stagnant and something needs to change.

While in this program there is love, loss, heartache, bonding, soul searching, growth, sadness…you name it…its there. I loved watching their individual growth as well as their friendships form. I was gutted at times at the loss some of them experience and had a huge lump in my throat at times. The loss I felt down to my toes and I honestly pray that I never have to experience it…ever. From the first page it drew me in and I got so invested in all their lives, I felt like I was part of it. I watched them face their demons and forge their way through. I saw them create a life out of loss and make the rest of their lives the best of their lives.

Naturally there is so much in between and it all flowed naturally and was so well written it was like I was watching a movie. I was moved by the emotions I could feel from the author and I truly hope there are more books like this from her in the future. I do love me some Meghan Quinn comedy but this definitely was a refreshing look at her writing skills.

About the Author

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
