3-friction-e-book-coverFriction a SEXY All-New Standalone from Emily Snow is now LIVE!

Former overachiever Lucy WillIams sucks at adulting.

Recent divorce, check.

Pending lawsuit, check.

A move back to Boston to live with her mother, triple check.

It can’t get much worse, right?

When she starts her new marketing job at EXtreme Effects, she’s positive shit’s stopped hitting the fan. Sure, what she’s advertising is a little … unorthodox, but it pays the bills. And since she’s seconds away from becoming Lucy Williams: Wednesday Night Bingo Enthusiast, she needs money to get the hell out of her mother’s house.

The only problem is her boss, Mr. Extreme himself: Jace Exley. He’s everything any sane woman dreams of—alpha, successful, ridiculously gorgeous. He’s also Lucy’s worst nightmare. Because like every overachiever, she has that underachiever she brushed off. The slacker who, once upon a time ago, was the object of her dirtiest schoolgirl fantasies.

Jace Exley—with his sarcastic smirk and delicious accent—just happens to be that guy.

And the friction between them?

Well, that’s the only adulting Lucy seems to be winning at.

The only kind of luck Lucy Williams has had lately is the shitty kind. Forced to move back home with her mother after a bad fallout with her former work partner, who just so happens to also be her shady ex-husband she is in desperate need of a job. Problem is her ex basically had her blackballed from the advertising world and it seems no one wants to take a risk on a potential hire that had a lawsuit hanging over her head.

“ I am already being reminded that, at twenty-seven , I am A) living with my mother and B) alone.”

Refusing to give up Lucy lands an interview for a job she saw on Craigslist at Extreme Effects. But when she walks into her interview she sure as hell doesn’t expect to come face to face with Jace Exley the boy who all too often was the object of her high school fantasies. It’s been ten years and the boy she knew has grown into the smoking hot man who is soon offering her a job when no one else would.

“As of a few minutes ago, Jace Exley, former underachiever and object of my school girl fantasies , is my boss.”

Jace can’t believe it when smart mouth know it all Lucy Williams from high school walks into his company desperate for a job. He knows he shouldn’t hire her, after all even with her smart mouth and attitude she is still as sexy as ever. And the last ten years have been really good to her. He can’t have that distraction around but he finds himself unable to resist giving her a job.

“Breathing her in is torture because she smells like warmth. Warmth, vanilla, and a slow, rough fuck”

From the moment these two first saw each other again the sexual tension is crazy. Both of them determined to keep things on a professional level , but both fighting and quickly losing that battle. One taste of Lucy and Jace finds himself breaking all the rules to try and keep her. These two characters are crazy intense and I loved them both. Throw in some unforeseen obstacles and an ass hat for an ex- husband and things get a little off the wall. I loved the chemistry between Lucy and Jace. And Jace’s hot mouth was…just oh hell it was melting the pages. Great read by Emily Snow and I can’t wait to read more!
