I believe in fairy tales — the kind where a knight in shining armor sweeps me off my feet. Coming from a broken home, fairy tales housed the hope I clung to. Never in my life did I imagine two knights coming into my life— two knights that wore very different armor.A rockstar versus a lawyer.
Fast and furious versus deliberate and calculated.
Intense and passionate versus strong and devoted.
Chaos versus stability.

I fell in love with one in the craziness of a concert.
I fell in love with the other in the silence of his compassion.

And now I am Torn Between Two.

Hmmmmmm….so this book started off slow and gained speed at a steady pace. I thought it was a book about a girl who had two guys…and for the most part it is but it goes much deeper then that. It got way deeper then I ever thought and that has positive and negatives. On the positive side it gave the “rock star” an emotional side. It showed he was multi dimensional…that he wasn’t what he portrayed. BUT…at times it got too deep and borderline depressing. He and Sam had more in common then they thought and loss drew them together. I will say that more then once I thought these two characters acted very immaturely and it was distracting. He is her teenage rock idol and she has landed him….him and his wild parties, crazy bandmates and long periods of times he goes MIA…His behavior never would have worked with me….rock star or not and I’m not sure how she put up with it. She wasn’t my favorite heroine..that is for sure.

Then you have Josh…the adorable, quirky, dependable law school student who also works in a womens shoe department. He literally is the best boyfriend ever…not to Sam but in general. He is aware that Sam has someone else and there is no real commitment and boy does he work hard at winning her over. He is totally swoon worthy and I wished he was real on more then one occasion. He also has a connection to her emotionally and a bond forms between them as well.

Naturally the rocker lifestyle takes a toll on Sam and she is torn…especially when she starts to develop feelings for Josh. It is a heartfelt story but like I said at times I felt it got too dark for a story about a girl having two hot guys fight for her.

I will say that the end had me on the edge of my seat and I’m so looking forward to seeing how this all works out. I’m hoping the next book isn’t as dark and I don’t know how she will pick between these two guys!!!! As the title says..she really is torn!!!

Life is made up of choices.

Single choices like bricks laid out in a path. A path that leads to your future.

At twenty four years old, I would have never guessed I would be stuck between two men—two men from opposite spectrums of the universe.
Their lives, their worlds, their demeanor is as different as the darkest of nights and the lightest of days.

I love them both, but I have to choose.
There is only one choice I can make.
And I choose forever.
