Madison thinks she’s escaped the Elite Kings after she discovers she is the Silver Swan. On the run, she feels betrayed and broken. But there is a part of her. A part of her that wants revenge. Although she has found out some of the truth, she still has so many questions to be answered. Will she be able to survive long enough to figure out how it all fits together in this riddle?

“Pushing open my bedroom door, a sense of power rushes over me. I trust no one, and that means no one can hurt me. No one can touch me. I’m untouchable because of this revelation. I can’t be hurt again. I will fight for control and my freedom for that little girl. For that broken part of me that yearns for it.”

Whoa! There’s so much about this continuing story from the Silver Swan that I just wasn’t expecting. So many twists and some of Madison’s questions are answered but then more just spring up in their place. I still have a huge crush on Nate…he’s just the best new brother. Bishop is the alpha god he was born to be except I suspect he has unexpected feelings for Madison. Those pesky feelings! The Elite Kings have us trying to discover their secrets while we try to decide who we should trust. Or should we listen to Bishop…trust no one?

This series really has it all. Mystery, suspense, teenage angst, dark forbidden romance…once I picked this book up, I could not set it down. I don’t know how I’ll survive until I have Bishop’s book in my hands because I really need to get inside his head.

“I thought I knew who I was, but I was wrong.”
The Silver Swan
1. A girl who is tarnished. Tainted. One who does not fit into the confinement of legend.
The Silver Swan
2. Madison Montgomery.
I was lied to.
I was cheated.
Resigning to pick up the scraps of empty memories and disarrayed thoughts, I left. After finally cutting the strings of manipulation, I resorted to do what I’ve done since I was a child, something my father drilled into my brain since I could handle my first rifle.
I’m a mere shadow of the girl they all knew.
Lies and deceit change you. They alter your entire outlook on life.
I’m Madison Montgomery, and I want to play a game.
Here’s what happens when I win.
Riddle me this, Mads.
What goes bump in the night,
but is something you can’t see with sight?
You may run, and you may hide.
Our happily ever after will be like Bonnie & Clyde.
