This book had me laughing out loud the whole freaking time. It was chock full of witty one liners, quick banter and more then one hilarious predicament!!!
Katie is suckered into a trip with one of her best friends Lily to go to Vegas for a few days. Little did she know she would run into Adam, a boy from school that teased and tortured her in grammar school. Furthermore, she finds out that Lily’s ex boyfriend is in Vegas to get married and that is why Lily dragged her here. And naturally, Julian’s best friend is ADAM!! What a mess!!!
The storyline would have been great on its own but throw into the mix the real reason Adam is there and it’s hilarious (even a bit far fetched) but it somehow works. LOL. Adam and Katie are two of the funniest characters I have read in a long time.
Does Lily ever get to talk to Julian? What does she need to talk to him about that is so urgent? Will Katie forgive Adam for the bullying and secrets from when they were younger? What is Adam hiding?
All of these questions are wrapped up by the end of the book and I was truly sad to get to the last page. A great beach read for the summer and even better for the winter coming curled up by a fire. Definitely recommend this book!
