From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.
A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends.
Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes.
I didn’t know or care what her name was.
Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man.
She hates me, and she should.
I objected on her wedding day.
Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger.
They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable.
I’ll never be done with her.

Riscoffs and Gables just can’t be together. They are like oil and water and this family feud dates back for over a century. But when Whitney Gable caught Lincoln Riscoff’s eye…they lit the sheets on fire. They promised they would stay with each other despite the obstacles but then she married her ex-boyfriend. But now she’s back. And Lincoln isn’t quite done with her.
“…why was I even tiptoeing toward the grand staircase to meet him?
Because I’m dick-struck. That was all. It was good sex. Great sex. I was hooked on what he could do in bed. I nodded my head like I was agreeing with myself when I knew it was all bullshit. I was getting in too deep. I felt things I shouldn’t feel.”
I love a good ol’ fashion family feud. And I loved the girl Lincoln first met. Whitney was a spitfire. But then she changed. And I missed her feistiness. She’s known for being the strong one in her family but I didn’t feel that and it made me sad. And Lincoln…don’t get me started. I loved that he was going to stand up to his family and be with the woman he loved. But then he sort of drove me a bit crazy too. It was maddening. I still have high hopes that these two characters work out their kinks for me. I love the premise and am counting down to see what happens in book two. I have so many theories over what’s going on. I love a good conspiracy too so I’ve spun some farfetched ideas in my head. Just throwing them around in my brain.
Everything that Meghan March writes I just love so I know as this trilogy unfolds I’m going to get sucked right in so hard it hurts. I want to see Lincoln and Whitney just say nah nah boo boo to their families and kick butt and take names.

To be honest up front and have full disclosure, I’m still on the fence with this book. Extremely well written. Great flow of the story. I just had a hard time relating to the main characters. The secondary ones had me more in my feels than the hero and heroine. But, I think that’s just because it felt very Hatfield and McCoy to me. So much tension and things unfolding with the past that I was like dang, there’s MORE!? I know its supposed to be more modern day Romeo and Juliette, I just didn’t get that vibe yet. That ending though! I was seriously like WTF!? I knew there was a twist coming but wasn’t expecting that in the least. Definitely need to know what happens next and hopefully I can find a connection with the characters a little better.
Overall it was a good read and had me wondering what was to come. Which is always good! I look forward to more.
Guilty until proven innocent.
That’s the way the world works, right?
I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.
The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.
If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.
Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect.
I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her.
I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option.
No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever
