As she goes through her stressful job of being a 911 Dispatcher, Alix is going through a rough patch. But she’s making the most out of sunny days and celebrating the small victories. Dylan Cole is full of impulse and decisive moments. He grabs life and lives it to the fullest. Smith Reid is a little more gentle and tries to understand her emotions. Both have touched Alix’s soul. But unfortunately Alix can only keep one of these men.

I don’t even know what to say about this story except it had all the feels. ALL. THE. FEELS. My heart just broke in two for Alix and everything she was feeling and all of the loss of control in her life. Both men had my heart. They were totally different but also just what Alix needed. I really could appreciate all of the complicated emotions this story pulled from the reader with the pain, love, struggle, perseverance…all of it. It’s such a moving story and definitely one you don’t want to miss.

I love everything Marni Mann puts out into the book world. She is such a versatile writer and no matter if it’s love, torture or tears she’s trying to pull out of a reader, she delivers every single time.
