Molly and Finn have settled into their divorce life. Six years apart and sharing the children is a routine. Until after a little too much wine and an unexpected letter in her mailbox has the two of them navigating unfamiliar/familiar waters. They embark on an affair that both swear is only a fling but as letter after letter written by Finn in the past shows up…old wounds open up. And they both become desperate to discover who is sending those letters.

Molly and Finn’s story hit me hard in the feels. I started the book thinking I knew what had split these two soulmates apart but then the letters started showing up. Gah! Every single twist and turn was perfection and I may have shed a few tears along the way. Devney writes so beautifully and she pulls my heart into her stories effortlessly. Her characters are devoted to each other with a timeless love that we should all strive for. Each and every one is always such a pleasure to read.

I’ve never been in the shoes of many of Devney Perry’s characters but I know people who have. Her stories come straight from the heart and just melt your insides. If you haven’t read her stories, I highly recommend giving them a try.
