Lars Bradby told her he was her forever. Daphne was starting to believe him. But then a little baby entered the picture and their world was changed. He had pushed his way into her heart and made her believe in him. In the two of them. She sacrificed it all for what she thought would be the best for him. That’s when everything imploded. They have no forever. Just the dust that was left behind.

“I need you forever, Daphne Morris. You were my forever girl, and this doesn’t change that.”

This story had me feeling so many emotions. My heart hurt for both Lars and Daphne. They made me happy and giddy then sad then mad then frustrated then hopeful…you get the picture. I love that Ella can pull all of that angst right out of me and stretch my heart to the breaking point and then patch it back together again. She’s that talented with her stories. She doesn’t run away from the hard topics…she plucks them out of the air and creates beautiful imperfect people with a love story that pulls them together despite all of the trauma. I am so addicted to all of the characters and the hardships they push through to reach their soulmate. Page after page, it’s so difficult to look away and that’s why she’s a must read author for me.
