Monica James went and did it again, Fallen Saint was amazing! I am totally wrecked after reading this book but in a good way, I think. What a total mind fuck and I loved every single minute of this dark, deliciously dirty, intense and crazy ass ride she is taking us on with this trilogy.

This book picks up right where the first left off and I am going to try hard not to give too much away but now Willow sees her captor Saint as her only shred of hope once she is turned over to Alek the most powerful man in Russia. Alek now essentially owns her, or so it is supposed to go but Willow is fierce and she won’t submit that easily. Everyone has a part to play in this screwed up mess they are in and this is where things start to get more intense, yeah I didn’t think it was possible but Monica Murphy was like “Hey, I am I am going to take twisted and one up it here.” Anyways, Willow and Saint go from captor and captive to so much more as they fight to try and gain their freedom and be together. But Saint isn’t exactly well, a Saint and there are things that are expected of him as he is Alek’s right hand man. Also it’s not like he and Willow can just run off into the sunset together, this isn’t that kind of story so they don’t get that luxury. They both make choices to protect the ones they love, no matter what the cost.

So there’s Saint whom I love so much and is so damn sexy and intense and there’s Willow with her undeniable strength that helps her survive the nightmare she is living in and then there’s Alek. Ok so I totally intended to loathe this man, like screw him and his I own you shit. But something happened along the way and I’m not even sure at what point it was but girl you got me to love him too. Damn that man is powerful and sexy and dare I say sweet when it comes to Willow. This book was crazy intense and so good. The last few chapters were completely insane and I was like what the hell did I just read, and then that cliffhanger?!? Love a twisted tale? Pick up the first two books in this series now!! I can’t wait until September for the next one!
