So I must say that I was excited to read this book and while it was a cute storyline, it wasn’t my favorite one in the series. Dominic and Val have know each other since they were kids and were each others first loves. They did not stay together however since Dom wanted a career and had always put that first. Val ended up dating and marrying someone else who she has a child with and is now divorced. These two have never quite gotten over each other and still care for each other.

While away in Vegas for a mutual wedding they did the unimaginable. But when their mothers find out, they convince them to give their relationship a chance. It was cute watching these two fight their feelings for each other. However, I just didn’t feel the sparks or magic between them. While there is definitely a past with them, their present chemistry wasn’t sizzling like I wanted it to be. It is a nice read but not as spicy as I would have liked it.
