The Bailey kids lose their parents when they are all young. Savannah and her brother are the oldest and not only take care of the other kids but run the family business. Therefore, not leaving much time for anything else. Savannah is a workaholic and feels like the business must succeed or she is a failure. She is the one the others’ look to for advice, go to when they are in trouble and always know she will take care of whatever comes up.

Liam is the brother’s friend. He has always been around like a part of the family and suffered just as much as the Bailey kids when their parents passed away. He owns a successful tattoo shop and is also a super hot manwhore. And he is madly, deeply and truly in love with Savannah and always has been.

Of course, these two have a semi-steamy moment at a wedding. Savannah feels like she can’t take the eye off the ball and have a relationship. She fights her feelings for Liam and he pulls out all the stops trying to get Savannah to give him a chance. I liked this book but it’s the typical “brother’s best friend or best friend’s little sister” scenario where something or someone is always keeping them apart.

It was cute with outside characters and a few semi-sexy love scenes. Savannah annoyed me at some points and I wanted Liam to move on…but I knew he wouldn’t. It was a cute beach read but was definitely not a super sexy book. I do look forward to reading more about the other siblings.
