When I found this book and read the blurb I was like, oh this sounds really good! But I couldn’t like either of the main characters. Quinn and Charlotte were engaged year ago when Quinn up and dumps her to further his career. A friend Grant, swoops in and steals Charlotte, knocks her up and they get married. Fast forward 7 years and it turns out Grant is a piece of sh@t. He ends up in trouble, betrays Charlotte and now he’s on the run. Quinn and Charlotte are thrown back together while trying to find Grant.

Naturally, old feelings come up and Quinn would like to have another shot with Charlotte. This book was just ok for me. Charlotte’s on the wishy washy side and Quinn is a dick a good portion of the book. I didn’t feel chemistry between them and I found myself skimming a lot of the pages just to see if they end up catching Grant.
