What the heck did I just read…*fans herself*. Wow was there some steamy scenes!! LOL. Nix is the President of a motorcycle club. He is the epitome of an alpha male. Super hot and liked by all. The love of his life is killed due to a war going on with another club and Nix is thrown into a tailspin. He mourns his love and can’t seem to get it together causing the club to worry about him.

Enter Synne. She is running from another club looking to start a new life and happens to land a job at Nix’s garage. Nix sees her for the first time and his breath is taken away. Not because she is gorgeous, which she is, but it’s because she looks eerily similar to his lost love. Their attraction is palpable and the love scenes are off the charts smoking hot.

Soon Nix realizes that she is a target and pushes her away for her protection thinking that will keep her safe. The push and pull between these two was so much fun to read. The chemistry immediately had me thinking I needed a cigarette after a few scenes. It was a page turner and I was sad it was over so quickly. This book had a ton of great supporting characters that I truly hope will be getting their own books at some point. Great start to a series!
