Actually had tears in my eyes at the end of this one. Grant and Mateo go on quite the journey from the undeniable attraction to what they are at the end of Need for Speed. A lot of character growth and a change of mission plans. I don’t think either planned for what happened at NAFTA since they both showed up on day one. I loved the way these two just gravitate to each other now and brighten each other’s entire mood. The characters pop off the page and make me feel pulled into their orbit…teetering on the edge for each decision. Each interaction. Wanting more for them. Can’t wait for the next flight of Solo and Panther. So good!
