Bully books are a favorite of mine. I’ll read as many as I can get my hands on but they have to be done right. This story was wrong on so many levels but boy, did it feel so right. Dark, depraved and super twisty…this bully romance has it all and then some. I can’t even process half of what I read because it was non-stop craziness paired with a ton of mystery, token rich guys who rule the school and are complete assholes but hey, they’re super hot so it’s hard to hate them and the poor yet extremely lucky girl who’s their target. This book consumed me and I loved every bit of depraved craziness it gave us.

Palmer enters her senior year as an outcast at Glass Heart Academy. It seems everyone hates her and she’s not quite sure why. It’s been almost a year since her sister, the queen of the school, went missing and everyone was treating her with kid gloves. But now that’s all changed and suddenly much to her dismay the only people who will acknowledge her besides her best friend are the glass heart boys. The kings of the school and now that their queen is gone it seems her little sister is the new pawn in their wicked games.

Marek, Byron, Dixon and Breaker are the kings of the school. The Glass Heart Boys who rule from the mysterious house on top of the hill. They are unapologetically cruel and sinfully delicious, a dangerous combination for a girl like Palmer. Their sites are set on her and she is determined to not fall for their charm. It’s not as easy as a girl would think, especially when it comes to Marek.

Okay so I don’t want to go too far into the story and give anything away because believe me this is one crazy train you wanna ride alone so no spoilers here. I loved Palmer. She was so badass and amazing. As much as these boys tried to break her she held her ground even when she was in one of their beds. Now the Glass Heart Boys, they are the boys you love to hate or maybe just plain hate. I honestly am so confused that I just don’t know. I love Marek, I think. But there were some parts where I just don’t know if he can ever redeem himself. Is everything he says a lie or how is Palmer ever supposed to trust him? Byron is a complete psycho…like lock his ass up quick and throw away the key. The verdict is still out on Dixon and Breaker. They are fucked up too, but I don’t known if they are as bad as the other two. I think I’m hoping somewhere deep down in the trenches of the depraved that Marek proves us wrong and comes out a hero. But all the twists and turns and secrets have me wondering if there really will even be a hero in this story. I absolutely loved this delicious and dark bully romance and cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us next. One of the best books I’ve read this year!
