This was a solid little love story book. The characters were adorable and I loved seeing them get on each others nerves. There wasn’t any crazy, crazy sexy scenes and I wish it had had more…it was on the PG-13 side but nonetheless still good.
Amanda needs to do an internship in order to graduate early. Through a twist of fate, she gets assigned to Oakley. He is the football team’s star. I must admit I didn’t really like him too much at the start. He is wild, impulsive, does not care about anything but partying and women. He is an actual publicist nightmare. Amanda is not very thrilled with having to take the task of cleaning up his image but she is determined to do a good job and get a good recommendation. I will say that some of the scenes between them had me laughing out loud!!! Quite a few witty one liners!!!
Naturally, these two come from very different lives…or do they?? Amanda seems straight laced but she has some whopper secrets and little by little these two, dare I say, become friends? Well, friends who have the major hots for each other!! This was a great storyline but I just wish it had been a little bit hotter!! Oakley became a likable character for sure and I loved seeing them work out their issues!! Great beach read!!

I have always loved to read. In kindergarten, I was the weird kid sitting in the reading nook by myself instead of trying to get more snacks. Iβm excited to be putting my own voice on the page and watching a story I helped create come to life. I still love to read, but I also really like snacks.
I grew up in Chicago but recently moved back to the Dallas area where I live with my husband and son.
I have my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I spent a year researching chimpanzees and gorillas while I was in Chicago and then I spent another two months on a chimpanzee sanctuary trying to convince headstrong chimps to cooperate. Pro tip – grapes are a pretty hot bargaining tool. They work wonders with my toddler too.
