Rian is a math book writer and basically the “square” of her group of friends. She bakes, is sweet and wouldn’t hurt a fly. She also has a major crush on her good friend and now roommate Dylan. Dylan is a tattooed alpha that has his own shop and has recently moved in with Rian. There is another roommate Jax…and that’s part of the reason Dylan moved in with Rian. Jax is from Dylan’s past and that plays a big part of this story. Dylan knows Rian has feelings for him and it’s mutual. They are both hiding feelings until it’s too much and the fallout is cute to watch.

This is your standard friend to lovers romance except they live together. I wanted to love this book but for some reason I never got to love status. I was in “like” with it instead. Which isn’t a bad thing, I just never felt a romantic connection between Rian and Dylan but more of friendship. I like the previous books in this series and will read new ones but I wish I had felt more with this story. I’m sure some people will love it.
