I absolutely adore this series and the other KPD series. They are hot, steamy and have alpha males in all of them. These are the reasons why I didn’t think twice to read this installment. This is the Bourne/Booth and Delanie/Dillon love triangle plus one. Bourne and Booth are brothers and Delanie and Dillon are sisters. It’s slightly tricky since one brother knocked up Delanie but is in love with her sister. I was ready to indulge in this part two book to see how it all plays how but I have to say it was my least favorite book of all the series which made me very sad!

It was a good storyline but for some reason I just couldn’t get into it. Maybe because Booth is his brother’s girlfriend’s kid’s dad? Maybe because it felt too weird? I don’t know but I felt distracted by that too much to enjoy the love story and semi sexy scenes. It definitely won’t discourage me from reading any further books but was just a little sad that I couldn’t immerse myself into Booth’s story. Still it was a good addition to the series.
