Murder kinda stalks Lizzy and I kinda loved it. I’ve been missing a dark and gritty read and finally I dove into a story that lit up all of my buttons. Lizzy was a complex heroine…suffering from a childhood trauma, unable to connect with people and wading through day to day life…just surviving. She intrigued me. She frustrated me. I wanted to shake her but at the same time felt pulled into her confusing but obsessive orbit. Her neighbor Clark? OMG! Mysterious and a little bit scary. Is it weird that made me want to know more? This book was a page turner for me and I really didn’t know who to trust with bodies popping up left and right. Very twisted and unpredictable which is everything I love in a dark romance. The only sad thing about this story is it was over too soon.
