“Six” Ines Broussard can’t seem to catch a break. She is at a black tie affair and gets mistaken for someone whose significant other is trying to break up with! She is only there for her father who she loathes and makes her life miserable. She literally does everything in her power to make him miserable right back. She wears the most outlandish outfits with crazy hair and even brings her own food to eat! Her antics had me laughing out loud more than once. The only saving grace is she gets to sit near the new mayor Lynn. He is definitely older than her but not as old as her Dad. But boy is he hot! A little too stuffy for her liking but it’s what gets her through the ordeal.

Wanting to get away from life for a few days, Six takes off to her place of solace. A friend’s piece of land where she can lie under the stars and relax. Only Six never imagined what she would walk into while hiking. In the middle of a field, a man is being beaten or tortured. She is shocked beyond belief to see the hot as hell, shirtless, tattooed god doing the beating is none other then the new stuffy mayor she just met! Lynn knows he can’t let her leave without talking to her so he takes her. Kidnaps her..if you will.

This is where the craziness all starts. Secrets are revealed. A few twists. The hot, steamy attraction between these two gets turned up several notches. Definitely a must read!
