This is a standalone in the series about Justin Tibbs AKA NYFD’s biggest manwhore in the department. He is single, hot, likes the ladies and has no intentions on settling down anytime soon even though all of his friends are dropping like flies. He does not want to be tied down and is upfront with any woman that he does hang out with. He likes his single life just fine.

Until at a club he see’s the hottest chick he has ever seen and immediately is drawn to her. However, after an awkward moment he realizes the hot chick is actually NYPD officer, Tessa Ricci. She is a hardass and puts up with nothing on and off the job. She is also extremely aware of Tibbs’ reputation and wants none of the drama he brings to the table.

But that pesky thing called fate has other plans for them. This story was a fun read with lots of one liners and Tibbs getting put in his place by Tessa. It was also equally funny watching Tessa try to resist his charms. It made for some hilarious moments as well as a few steamy scenes. Loved watching the pull and push and the walls these two have had built up slowly start to crumble. This is definitely a great beach read!
