This book picks right up a few days after the crazy cliffhanger in book 2. Mia is left in pieces after what Cade did to her and it was super frustrating seeing her go through all the emotions of the aftermath. Seeing her break piece by piece but I loved seeing how Bexley was there for her.

That boy would not leave her side and when he was forced to, it nearly broke him. But he never gives up hope that she will somehow heal not only physically but mentally. This book…wow…it definitely ties up all the loose ends and it’s a crazy ride. I loved seeing old characters as well. What an emotional trilogy this has been and I loved every minute of it. The part I wasn’t crazy about was the ending. Ugh…what a freaking let down. All this build up, all this carefully laid and planned out plot to build up our hate and anger that was oozing from every pore to be ready to cheer and that. That. What was that?

Part of me gets why the author went where she did. But come on. Alllllllllllll of what has happened leads to that? What a disappointment. I know I’m not alone here either based on other reviews I have read. Great books but not a fan of the end.
