A gorgeous, heart rendering story that brought tears to my eyes and a lovely warmth to my soul. Full of legends, myths and fantasy…I loved the terrifying savage Dade who burned villages to the ground, murdered innocents and drove for revenge. Opal is such a sheltered innocent who possesses an inner strength and secrets she’s forced to keep hidden. This intricately woven tale was beautifully unraveled and I was addicted to every single page. Each character was perfectly fleshed out and made me crave more of their own stories. My mind is racing with my own theories on where their lives are destined to wander which makes me want this story to be the beginning of an epic fantasy series.
