Russell is a firefighter in Alaska and lives in a house his mother owns. It’s two separate apartments that share a kitchen. Paisley is an Alaskan transplant firefighter who recently moved there. She doesn’t have luck finding much as far as living but does get referred to a place where she only has to share the kitchen with someone.

Paisley and Russell work together and for some reason, they do not get along. I still don’t understand the real reason they did not get along. Paisley finds out that Russell is her new roommate. While they don’t get along at work, they are attracted to each other and now have to live together. There is another storyline dealing with Paisley’s brother and to to be honest, I don’t know why it was included.

I couldn’t seem to connect with this story and skimmed more than once. I did not feel the spark between these two. Their sexy scenes were not steamy enough for my liking. It was just an ok romance for me.
