This is the second book in trilogy. You need to read the first one…this is not a standalone. It picks up where the first book leaves off in a cliffy. Theo and Emmie. These may be some of my favorite characters to date. I had to keep reminding myself these two are only seventeen years old but because of how they are brought up they are both wise beyond their years. I found myself entranced when this book started out seeing how the cliffy was gonna end from the previous book. I was not disappointed. There are so many twists, turns and secrets revealed in this book. Although I never thought I would see it…these two are falling for each other. They try to fight it but it is just meant to be…until it isn’t. GAH! This book had me on the edge of my seat! I loved watching these two let their walls down and be vulnerable around all the freakin’ chaos that happens! When these two are behind closed doors its like the outside world does not exist. Their love for each other as well as their attraction is palpable and caused some steamy scenes for sure!

As I said, there are many questions answered in this book and some crazy a$$ things happen. Just when I finally feel a groove happening for these two…BAM…another wrench is thrown in the mix. This time I am not sure if they can survive it. I desperately want these two to end up together! Talk about soulmates and THE perfect couple. I also have to add the I absolutely love all the supporting characters in this series. I am eagerly waiting for the next book to see how the hot mess of Theo and Emmie pan out!
