Although this is part of a series, you can read this as a standalone. This was a quick, fun read and I look forward to more in this series. Posey and Hudson have known each other forever. Hudson was Posey’s brothers best friend. Her brother passed away. Hudson lived across the street but moved away. There was always some attraction between them but with a huge age difference it was too taboo and against bro code. Posey rarely sees him anymore except occasionally when he checks on his old house across the street from hers.

Now that she is legal age, Hudson sees Posey and realizes rather quickly he can’t get her out of his mind. He becomes obsessed. Watching these two reconnect and fight the major attraction was fun. I was turning pages quickly to find out how and when their control would snap! Posey is hysterical and does not ease up on him. Hudson, even though he is super alpha male, has a huge soft spot for her. There is also a little drama about what Hudson does these days and what those ties have to do with her brother’s death. These two had off the chart chemistry and the back and forth between these two was comical. Loved it and would definitely recommend!
