This was a great story. It is more of the Morelli and Constantine family drama. You don’t have to read any of the other stories, but it helped me when they spoke of some of the other characters. If I had not read them though, it would have still been okay. This is the story of Perry Constantine. He must marry a woman he has never met before. He’s a momma’s boy so the family knows he will do what she asks. It is good for the power of the family. Of course, he will do it for the family. The woman he is to marry is Charlotte Lancaster. She is from a family who also has power in their city. He is unable to find much about her on the internet. She sort of falls off the grid. Charlotte is told that she is to marry Perry. She is against it at first, but then finds it an easy out from her family. She has a past that comes back to her present in the story. The story ends with a cliffhanger so we will wait to see how it will affect their arranged marriage. I want to know what happens next. I am invested in these characters. This book was very well written.
