I’m a waitress. He’s a Rockstar.

It was supposed to be simple.
He was the gorgeous mystery occupying a stool at the bar.
An anonymous one-night stand.
No names, no numbers, no regrets.

A temporary escape for us.
Mine from the brutality of my life, his from a life in the spotlight.
Both of us trying to ease the pain of unimaginable loss.

Unfortunately, nothing good ever stays secret for long,
and the consequences of our tryst send our lives toppling over a cliff so steep,
we may never be able to climb out.

Everything that happens after is unexpected.

UNEXPECTED is an unputdownable emotional new adult full-length, standalone single dad rockstar contemporary romance about missed connections, loss, learning to love, and being slow to trust again. This love story between a celebrity and a heroine with a hard life is rife with plot twists, steamy encounters, and emotional hairpin turns. UNEXPECTED is a sexy novel that has no cheating, cliffhangers, or love triangles. What you will find is a good smutty book with a little bit of angst and a definite HEA.

Whoa! This wasn’t what I was expecting when I started a rock star romance. Lots of angst and drama that took me by surprise. And steamy scenes and a few tearful surprises. Definitely kept me on my toes and kept me turning the pages to see what happened next. Ava is a girl whose had a rough life and the hits keep on coming. The poor lady tries to be strong but heck…I don’t know if I could handle everything that keeps being thrown her way. Whit is a rock star that just wants one night of fun without the pressure of fangirls and people using him. These two clearly burn up the sheets and then bam…we are onto their reality. Man, this was a roller coaster with tons of twists. TONS! Quite entertaining and I enjoyed Whit’s character tremendously. He was very grounded, protective and responsible…an impressive, swoonworthy hero. Ava was understandably overwhelmed and I still loved how kind, loyal and independent she tried to be. Loved the side characters and I solidly recommend this book for a sweet, emotional romance that will have you smiling in the end.

About Elizabeth Aton

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and too many tiny panthers. One day, they will likely eat me. They often stare at me with that look in their little predator eyes.

Until then, I will continue to read into the wee hours of the morning, try to write new stories that make readers feel all the things, weight train and meditate every morning to keep my head from exploding, watch cleaning and cash envelope stuffing videos on YouTube, and make outrageous gourmet meals in my massive kitchen with my husband, The Meat Master.

I have a degree in English Literature which, up until now, I’ve mainly used to write weird things on social media. I belonged to the English Honor Society, the Sigma Tau Deltas in Latin. Yes, that’s right. I was an STD.
I’m a failure as a trophy wife since I refuse to spend my husband’s hard-earned money frivolously, I’ve committed to aging gracefully, and I don’t behave.
Oh, and since I have the floor: Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice is an OG billionaire enemies-to-lovers romance. #fact
