This story definitely gave me that freaky vibe and I enjoyed the shivers it would give me. Layla gets her first big break working on a story featuring Cain Archer…reclusive architect. Even though these two were immediately drawn to one another, it always surprised me that when the red flags would fly up that Layla would choose to ignore them. But we wouldn’t have a good suspenseful thriller if she didn’t. I loved the slow unraveling of Cain’s secrets and the little things that would catch Layla’s attention that she ignored at first. A few good twists caught me off-guard and kept me glued to the pages. An enjoyable suspense romance and loved the ending.
