There is a lot going on in the story so I kept a notebook close by so I could take notes on who’s who and related to who. This is a beautifully written story about love literally falling into your arms. Basilio DiLustro, Kingpin to the New York Syndicate, is standing outside of a home and sees someone ready to fall from a window. The young lady asks him to catch her and he does. Wynter Star is sneaking out of her uncle’s home and Basilio helps her escape. That is the beginning of a crazy adventure for Wynter and all of her friends. House fires, robbing casinos and so much more. But when they get in trouble, Wynter runs to Basilio for help. He agrees…if Wynter goes on a date with him.

This is such a great story of the connection between two people and whether it is strong enough to hold them together. Despite all the lies and drama between their families. I am looking forward to reading the next story to see who the hot “bad guy” will be and who they are matched up with.
