Resist, the first in an all-new irresistible duet by New York Times bestselling author K. Bromberg is available now!

!!Resist cover

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Driven series comes a powerful romance about reaching great heights through low depths.

Who says you have to play by the rules to get what you want?

Agreeing to meet Ryker Lockhart is my first mistake. Rich, handsome, and more than intriguing, he thinks blackmail will bend me to his will.

But he’s wrong.

I may have done a few things that weren’t exactly legal, but I have my own reasons for that. The last thing I’m going to do is let some high-powered divorce attorney come into my life, have my body, and rule my heart. Not to mention ruin everything that I have carefully built in just a short amount of time.

But as much as I try to resist him, and against my better judgment, there is something about him that has me agreeing to his proposal.

I’m putting everything on the line for him. I just hope I won’t lose everything when this is all over.

Gahhhhh! I’m so mad right now. I could punch a certain divorce attorney right in the balls. But the reason I’m so mad is because I felt for that man instantly and his broody ways. Addicting as hell! I kept flipping the pages like a mad woman and this book completely pissed me off at the end. But in the best of ways. It made me feel. I related to it. I fell for the characters and enjoyed their banter. I loved it. Can’t wait for the next book to come out because I know some major groveling better be happening!!!! And I mean MAJORRRR! Bromberg nailed this one!

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, the edge of your seat, angst-filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles… prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bedtime stories with my sisters growing up.

My mom would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. Not all love stories are made from light- some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters, I love spending time with my family. I’m a mom and that comes first in my life, but when I do get down time, I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

This is the third book in The Thorne Hill series and picks up right where we were left off with that cliffhanger at the end of the last book. Callie is once again in some serious trouble after she is accused of treason and has to face the charges brought against her. Yes, she knows she messed up with the ley line and yes, she may have fell in love with a sexy, super old, super powerful vampire. That’s definitely something the coven is not happy being it’s forbidden and all that jazz but she’s never been great at following the rules. Can she convince them that she is innocent without divulging all the other craziness that seems to be going on in her life?

This book again follows Callie and Lucas as they fight to prove their love and stay together while trying to clear Callie’s name with the coven, fight off body possessing demons, witch hunters, giant dog rat beats and the plague. Just to name a name a few things they have to deal with on any given day in this book. Lucas is completely devoted to Callie and will do anything to protect her and Callie is pretty badass and is willing to do anything to protect their love, but does their forbidden romance stand a chance with threats coming at them from all directions?

“Forever. Only…my forever will end. Lucas will live on past that. Alone. Forever.”

So this book had a lot going on, and I don’t necessarily mean that it’s a good thing. Honestly it was a little much for me and I ended up skimming parts. Yes, I love the whole witch and vampire forbidden romance and do enjoy both characters but there was so much thrown in the mix that kind of made it a clusterfuck. Then there were parts that were just too predictable. Yes, trouble follows Callie around but this much? All in one book? A bit of overkill. I was torn as part of me wanted to finish it and see where it would lead but part of me wanted to stop and just be done. I did finish and am glad I read it. There were some interesting twists towards the end, but alas we are left with another cliffhanger. Book three definitely wasn’t my favorite in the series so far but I have hopes for book four and hope that Callie and Lucas truly get to be together.

“For nearly two-thousand years I have lived in darkness. I let it consume me, fill me, until I swore that’s all I could have. And then I met you.”

I’m on my second glass of wine when Lucas pulls into the driveway. He parks his black Mercedes in the driveway and gets out, moving with vampire speed up to the front porch.

“What’s that smell?” he asks, making a face.

“Lavender, lemon, and eucalyptus oil.” I motion to the diffuser I have on the porch next to me. “It keeps mosquitoes away. You don’t like it?”

“It’s very strong.”

I look into my wine glass for bugs. I don’t see any, and I’m getting tipsy enough not to care as long as I drink them down fast enough. Finishing the last bit of wine, I set my glass down and get up. “Who has a stronger sense of smell: a vampire or a German Shepherd.”

“The dog, thankfully.”

“Really?”

“Yes, though really, I’m glad. The world smells enough as it is.”

“True, and I’m glad too because I do human things in the bathroom occasionally.”

Lucas laughs. “I know you’re alive, my love.” He picks me up and kisses me, pressing my back against the front door. I called him when the trial was over, letting him know to come over and not to worry about finding BBQ Callie in the yard. Then I hung up and started drinking away my problems.

It’s a terrible coping mechanism, and one that I started way too young. We all have our vices, and I know this will catch up to me sooner or later.

“How drunk do I have to be for you to get drunk too?”  I ask between kisses.

“It depends.” Lucas draws his fangs and grazes them over my flesh.

“On what?”

“On how much I take from you.” He stops kissing me and looks in my eyes. “I won’t take too much. I love you, Callie Martin, and I will never hurt you.”

“Anne.”

“Anne?”

“It’s my middle name. Callista Anne Martin.”

“Martin is your father’s last name.”

“I know.” I feel like I weigh nothing at all as Lucas easily holds me up. “But it’s mine too.”

“For now.” Lucas doesn’t give me a second to think. He kisses me hard again, tongue entering my mouth. Heat rushes through me and I don’t have time to process what he just said.

“Let’s go inside.” I grab the hem of his shirt and inch it up. No one from the coven has reason to go by my house tonight, and it’s far enough away from the road it would be impossible to sense that Lucas was a vampire even if someone did drive by. Still…fuck. I hate this.

Moving with vampire speed, Lucas carries me in and lays me down on the couch. I curl my legs up around him and we go right back to where we left off.

“I should…” I start, trailing off as Lucas bunches up my dress. “Put an extra—ohhh.” He slides his hand up my thigh and sweeps his fingers over my clit. “Wa..warding on…on…the house.”

“Are you expecting more demons?” His fingers slip under my panties. “I’ll kill them just for interrupting us.”

“Not demons, but witches.”

Lucas stops stroking me. “Why are you warding against witches?”

My eyes fall shut and suddenly I can’t breathe. Lucas moves off of me and I get up, going into the kitchen for more wine.

“I thought the trial went well.” Lucas watches me forgo a wine glass and put the bottle to my lips. “Yet you’re drinking like you want to forget something.”

Synopsis

WES

When I was a kid, my dad was the gardener for the richest man in town. His daughter, Lily Barnes, told me she could never like a guy like me. Then she kissed me and told me it would never happen again. When it happened again, she told me she could never love me because she was going to leave this place, and I would never leave my dad.

We were never quite friends, not exactly enemies, and we could never quite stop secretly kissing each other.

She never said goodbye before running off to try to make it as an actress. That was her dream, and I wanted her to chase it. Okay, maybe I hated her for it, just a little.

Now she’s back, with no money and even more sass.

A lot has changed around here … except for my hidden feelings about Lily Barnes.

LILY

So, it turns out I’m a terrible actress and now I’m back!

When my father offers me a job at his company, I actually think he’s finally decided I’m worthy of one day taking over the family business. Imagine my surprise when I find out that the gardener’s son is the one who’s being groomed to take over, and I’ve been assigned to work for him.

Wes Carver has always been rich in confidence and abs, but now he’s rich in everything, including disdain for yours truly.

If he thinks I’m not built to work, he’s wrong.

If he thinks he can boss me around just because he’s my boss, he’s delusional.

If he thinks I’m still the girl who could never love him … I may be a better actress than anyone thought.

I REALLY loved this book and it made me cry!! I don’t want to give much more thn the blurb did but I can tell you to definitely read this, you wont be disappointed! Wes grew up being the gardener’s kid to a rich family. Lily was the daughter of that rich family. Wes and Lily had major crushes on each other and made out every chance they got. But Lily had dreams about being an actress and firm plans to leave this town and never look back. Even though leaving Wes would kill her, she knew he would never go with her. So Lily takes off for the silver screen to make it big and never says goodbye to Wes.

Fast forward years later, Lily has not made it big and is broke. She crawls back home with her ego bruised, taking a job at her father’s company. But not with an executive position but as an assistant to an executive in the company. Any guesses who that executive is? Yep…Wes. And neither of them are happy about this situation but there are still feelings left unresolved.

The back and forth with these two is HILARIOUS!! Watching them remember the good and bad times and work around the large amounts of sexual tension while they are forced to work together is super fun. Lily and her father are cringe worthy to read about and I prayed that relationship would heal itself. This is a must read and great for the beach!!

Excerpt

Okay, I’ll admit it. This is the level of intimacy I’ve been most comfortable with when it comes to guys for most of my life—being admired by strangers that I have absolutely no chemistry with. It’s safe and it’s easy and it passes the time. Who needs fireworks when I can have regular conversations with regular guys who don’t stimulate me in any way, on any level?

I’m just starting to convince myself that I can live like this for the foreseeable future when I think I catch sight of the one person I was trying not to secretly hope that I’d see tonight. He’s an oasis of tight black T-shirt and blazer in a desert of flannel and polo shirts. He’s a giant, freshly made chocolate croissant in a bakery filled with day-old plain donuts. He’s walking toward us, eyes pinning me with a possessive stare that sends shivers up and down my spine and gives me a rush like no amount of sugar can do for my brain and my body. Lord, I just want him to lie down on top of me for like an hour. It doesn’t have to be a sex thing! I just want the weight of him pressing down on me so that it’s all I can feel.

“Oh my God, shut up no way!” Alecia squeals and starts jumping up and down. “Bay-baaaayyyyyy!!!”

I finally notice that Neal is walking alongside Wes.

“So what are you doing here, though, seriously?” the guy I had completely forgotten about asks, trying to step back into my sightline. “Can I get you another drink?”

“I think she’s good,” Wes says as he puts an arm around me. “You’re good, right?” he asks me.

I stare up at him, unable to do anything other than enjoy the weight of his big man arm on me, unable to speak for maybe the first time ever.

“Yeah, she’s good. Thanks, man.” Wes removes his arm from my shoulder for a few seconds to shake hands with the guy. “Have a good night.”

I am able to breathe again for a moment. “Yes! No, I don’t need a drink, but thank you. Thanks.” I feel a big warm hand on my lower back, and now it is all that I’m aware of. I can vaguely sense that Neal and Alecia are hugging nearby, and Leesh is asking her husband who’s looking after their fucking kids, but it’s like I’m hearing them from underwater. I can no longer recall just how much alcohol I’ve consumed this evening, but because of my sudden lightheaded wooziness, I’m trying to remember if Alecia made me drink one of her special shit mix slushies earlier.

It is not okay for me to feel this way.

I step away from the big warm hand and look up at Wes, swaying a little.

“You okay?” He reaches for my arm to steady me.

“Yes?” I move my arm away to run my hand through my hair—a signature move that was devised to keep guys who aren’t Wes Carver from touching me. So why am I doing it with Wes Carver? And why is he looking at me like that?

“Toby’s with the kids,” Neal says. “Hey, Lily.”

I realize that I’ve backed up into Neal and Alecia.

“Wait—your dad is babysitting their kids?” I ask Wes.

“He’s looked after them a couple of times before, when I wasn’t available.”

Why weren’t you available? I’m dying to ask him. Were you out on dates with women who aren’t me? Because good—you should totally do that—but also no, don’t do that, not ever, because you’re mine, you’re all mine!

“But why are you here?” is what I say out loud.

“I wanted to see you,” I think I hear him say.

“What?”

Wes leans in closer and says, “Neal wanted to surprise Leesh.”

God help me, he smells like a leather jacket that got soaked in a rain shower in a cedar forest and got left to dry in a spice factory.

“Crashing Girls’ Night,” I tease. “Classy.”

I inhale so deeply, instinctively reaching up to touch his beautiful unshaven face…forgetting that I was holding my drink with that hand. My glass falls to the floor. What is happening to me? I don’t drop things…except for that book I dropped this morning when a certain someone took his shirt off and I got my first look at his awe-inspiring grown-up bare back. So this is literally the second time I’ve accidentally dropped something in my entire life.

I don’t even move. The glass didn’t break on the carpet, and my leg is only slightly drenched, my foot only a little bit soaked through my stacked-heel Mary Janes. Maybe nobody noticed.

Wes reaches around behind me to grab a napkin from the counter, holds my gaze as he slowly lowers himself down, down the front of me, to pick up the glass with one hand and drag the napkin up the front of my foot with the other. He sweeps the napkin up my bare shin and up over my knee. He continues to look up at me as his fingers glide ever so lightly across the skin of my thigh, just below the hem of my skirt.

I would give all of the money in my trust fund to this night club if there were a rope dangling in front of me right now, attached to one of those Flashdance buckets so I could just pull on it and douse my entire trembling body with water.

“What are you doing?”

“I should have asked you if you wanted to stay wet,” he smirks as he places the wet napkin and empty glass back on the counter top. “Where are my manners?” He wipes his hands on the front of his jeans.

I stare down at his big strong hands and the front of his jeans, where that big strong bulge was only a few nights ago.

Snap out of it, LB! Get your head out of your boss’s jeans and back in the game and keep your eye on the balls.

On the ball.

On the prize.

Whatever. Just stop staring at his crotch.

“Where is the Wes Carver who doesn’t give a shit about manners—when it comes to me, at least?”

“Left him at work,” he says with a wink. A wink!

“Did you just wink at me?” I laugh. “That’s what happens when you’ve been hanging out with your dad all day, huh?”

“Please. My dad learned everything he knows about flirting from me.”

“First of all—Hah! Secondly, are you openly admitting to flirting with me, and third…are you actually flirting with your assistant right now, Mr. Carver?”

His grin almost disappears for a second, but he lowers his chin and pins me with a stare that I feel directly between my legs. “Are you actually telling me not to flirt with you right now, Miss Barnes?”

I feel hypnotized by those dark, penetrating eyes, but thankfully Alecia squeezes my shoulder as she and Neal head for the dance floor.

“Girlfriend!” she yells. “We’re going to another bar after we dance—like two songs! Come on! Both of you!” She doesn’t wait for us to join her, which is smart because she’d be waiting forever.

“Wanna dance?”

Two words I never thought I’d hear Wes Carver say to anyone.

I furrow my brow at him, incredulous. He’s looking at me so seriously, like he’s really asking me if I want to dance with him, and I just have to giggle. Giggle! For the first time in like, seven years. My cheeks feel warm and my hands feel clammy, and I’m trying so hard to find my inner snarky goddess, but I think she’s already out there on the dance floor.

“With you?” Lame. That is literally the lamest thing I could have said.

“I’m afraid I’ll have to insist that if you do any dancing tonight, it will be with me.” He grins again, thank God, and it puts me slightly more at ease.

I rest one hand on a hip. “Are you as relentlessly expressive a dancer as you were at that prom?” I’m being hilarious, of course. At prom, he just shifted his weight from one foot to the other while casually scanning the room and nodding his head occasionally. It still looked hot, though.

“I’ve definitely added a few moves to my repertoire since high school,” he says, scratching at his chin with his thumb.

WOOOOOWEEEEE! What a tangled web Kylie Scott weaves! This book was super intense. I mean from the beginning to the end it was constantly one up and down after another. Some pretty scary secrets, love on the run, and a whole lot of bullets flying kept me flipping the pages until I finished. I loved it. Betty and Thom were great together. Although, I really wanted to throat punch Thom a couple of good times. Betty is sassy, sharp, and full of life. She’s probably one of the most forgiving heroines I’ve read in a long time. At first I was like no way…and then I quickly got on board. Thom was an ass. He even admits to it. But boy oh boy, did he know how to make up for it. Kylie done an exceptional job with this book. I even caught myself wanting more from side characters because they played such a big part. Definitely one I will recommend for sure.

Excerpt

“You’re going to break his heart.”

“No, I’m not,” I say. “That’s sort of the whole point. If I really thought leaving him would break his heart, then I probably wouldn’t be leaving him in the first place.”

My best friend, Jen, does not look convinced.

Boxes fill a good half of the room. What a mess. Who knew you could accumulate so much junk in only twelve months? At least we weren’t together so long that I can’t remember who owns what. One year is about the sweet spot for this issue in relationships, apparently.

“The fact of the matter is, we’re not in love. We have no business being engaged, let alone getting married.” I sigh. “Have you seen the packing tape?”

“No. He’s just such a nice guy.”

“I’m not debating that.” I climb to my feet, then head up the stairs to the second bedroom. Thom’s unofficial workout room/home office. Not a room I normally go into. But it only takes a bit of rummaging to find what I’m looking for. Whatever else might be said about them, insurance assessors are organized. The bottom drawer of Thom’s desk has a neat stash of stationery. I grab a couple rolls of thick tape.

“And leaving him this way…” Jen continues as I head back down.

“How many times have I told him we need to talk? He’s always putting it off, saying it’s not a good time. And now he’s away again. I’ve been messaging him for the last week and he barely replies.”

“You know he has to drop everything once a job comes up. I realize he’s not the most exciting guy, Betty, but—”

“I know.” I smack down a line of tape with extra zest, sealing the lid of the last box. In this Operation Abandon Ship Posthaste, I know I’m definitely slightly the bad guy. But not totally. Say sixty/forty. Or maybe seventy/thirty. It’s hard to tell to what degree. “I do know all of that. But he’s always busy with work or away on some business trip. What am I supposed to do?”

A sigh from Jen.

“When you realize you’ve made such a monumental mistake, it’s hard to sit and wait to fix things. Nor is it fair on either of us to keep up the pretense.”

“Guess so.”

“And the fact that he’s yet again made no effort to prioritize our relationship and make a little time for me in his busy schedule is just further proof that I’ve made the right choice in ending this now before it gets any more complicated. End of rant.”

Nothing from her.

“Anyway, you’re supposed to be on my side. Stop questioning me.”

“You wanted to get married and have children so badly.”

“Yeah.” I sit back on my heels. “I blame it all on playing with Ken and Barbie’s dreamhouse when I was little. But it turns out that being in a relationship with the wrong person can be even lonelier than being alone.”

Jen and I have been friends since sharing a room in college. We’ve witnessed the bulk of each other’s dating ups and downs. For some reason, I’m the type of girl who guys will go out with, but don’t tend to stick with. Apparently, I’m fuckable—just not girlfriend material. Maybe it’s my smart mouth. Maybe it’s the whole not fitting current societal expectations of beauty i.e. I’m fat. Maybe I was born under an unlucky star. I don’t know; it’s their loss. Like anyone, I have my faults, but all in all, I’m awesome. And I have a lot to give. Too often in the past few months, I’ve had to keep reminding myself of this fact.

“There are just so many jerks out there,” Jen says. “I was happy that you’d found a good one.”

“I think I’d prefer a jerk who was genuinely into me than a nice guy phoning it in.

Honestly, I’d rather go adopt a dozen cats and settle into old age and isolation than be with someone who treats me as if I’m an afterthought.”

She looks at me for a long moment, then nods slowly. “I’m sorry it didn’t work out.”

“Me too.”

“Time to start filling up the cars. Boy, do you owe me.”

I smile. “That I do.”

Jen stands and stretches before picking up one of the boxes labeled kitchen. “I just didn’t want you to do something you’d regret, you know?”

“I know. Thank you.”

Alone in the two-bedroom condo, everything is silent. My parting letter sits waiting on the coffee table with his name written on the front. A slight bulge in the envelope betrays the shape of my engagement ring. It’s a sweet, simple ring. One small diamond perched on a band of yellow gold. My hand feels wrong without it. Naked. They say there are different love languages and you have to take the time to learn your partner’s needs. It’s like he and I never quite got there. Or maybe I’m just crappy at relationships.

The bridal magazines I’d collected are in the trash. Perhaps I should have taken them into the florist shop where I work so someone could get some use out of them. But this feels more symbolic, more definite. My family are a couple of states away, and I have only a few of what I’d classify as good friends. Being an introvert makes it hard to meet people. A boyfriend, a husband, would mean I’m no longer alone. Someone cares about me and puts me first. At least part of the time. Only Thom doesn’t any of the time, so here we are.

I tighten my ponytail of long dark hair. Then, in a rare display of dexterity that my yoga instructor would be proud of, I stack three boxes in my arms and head outside into the hot afternoon sun. Jen’s Honda Civic is parked at the curb, the trunk standing open as she moves things about inside. My old Subaru sits in the driveway waiting to be filled. Birds are singing and insects chirping. It’s your typical mild autumn day in California.

That’s when the condo blows up behind me.

“I LOVED both Cosy and Griffin! This story was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!”- Kendall Ryan, New York Times bestselling author

Making Up_ebook

Synopsis

Making Up an all-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting is available now!

Cosy Felton is great at her job—she knows just how to handle the awkwardness that comes with working at an adult toy store. So when the hottest guy she’s ever seen walks into the shop looking completely overwhelmed, she’s more than happy to turn on the charm and help him purchase all of the items on his list.

Griffin Mills is using his business trip in Las Vegas as a chance to escape the broken pieces of his life in New York City. The last thing he wants is to be put in charge of buying gag gifts for his friend’s bachelor party. Despite being totally out of his element, and mortified by the whole experience, Griffin is pleasantly surprised when he finds himself attracted to the sales girl that helped him.

As skeptical as Cosy may be of Griffin’s motivations, there’s something about him that intrigues her. But sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas and when real life gets in the way, all bets are off. Filled with hilariously awkward situations and enough sexual chemistry to power Sin City, Making Up is the next standalone in the Shacking Up world.

I love this series and how they are all interconnected! Cosy is use to being a wanderer. She has that independent and adventurous spirit. Griffin is more logical and a planner. These two just were so adorable together. I loved the humor, sparking chemistry and how they made so much sense despite the little age difference. The twists made the story a page turner where I couldn’t wait to see how they were going to move past the bumpy road thrown at them. Every single time I read a book about this family I end up with a smile on my face and laughter in my heart.

Excerpt

We’re a couple of minutes away from my apartment, which also means we’re almost at the end of our date. End-of-date protocol often means a goodnight kiss.

And I’ve eaten onions. Lots of them. What the hell was I thinking? I feel around in my shorts pocket, hoping I have a random stick of gum. I find a tiny square packet and pull it out, along with an old tissue. I shove that back in my pocket and sigh with relief as I carefully open the Listerine Pocketpak. There’s one strip left. I pop it in my mouth, wishing I had water since my mouth is dry and I’m suddenly super nervous.

Griffin pulls up in front of my apartment building. I swallow a bunch of times, trying to get the strip to dissolve on my tongue and glance out the tinted window, seeing it from his perspective. I don’t live in a bad part of town, but I sure as hell wouldn’t leave this car sitting out here for any length of time unless I wanted it keyed or stripped down.

Griffin shifts into park and turns to me, one hand resting on the back of my seat near the headrest. “I had a great time, Cosy.”

“Me too, thanks for dinner.” I tried to fork over my share, but he was quick on the credit card draw.

“It was my pleasure.” He leans in the tiniest bit, a nonverbal cue that he’s going in for a kiss.

I mirror the movement, giving him the go ahead. My stomach flutters in anticipation. I exhale slowly through my nose. Even though the Listerine strip should be doing its job to mask the onions, I don’t want to ruin the moment by breathing that in his face.

His fingertips skim my jaw, and I close my eyes. And then his lips brush my cheek. I wait for them to move a couple of inches to the right, but after what feels like a lot of seconds—and is probably only a few—I crack a lid.

Griffin is still close, a wry smile on his lips and a smolder in his eyes.

“Seriously, that’s it? A kiss on the cheek?”

His smile widens, making his eyes crinkle at the corners. He’s nothing like the guys I usually end up on dates with. College boys don’t take things slow. If I were out with one of the guys from school, I’d be sitting in a beat-up Civic with some stupid music playing, and he’d be all over me with his tongue halfway down my throat, copping a feel.

“I thought all the onions you ate were the equivalent to garlic for vampires.” Griffin fingers my hair near my shoulder. I’d really like him to finger something else. Wait. I mean I’d like to feel his hands on me. Not in my pants. Okay, maybe I’d like them in my pants, but not after date number one.

“I wasn’t thinking, and I really like onions. A lot. In hindsight, it’s not a great date food. I feel kinda dumb. And I guess at first I wasn’t so sure about you. How was I supposed to know you’d actually be kind of normalish?”

“Normalish?”

“Well, you drink club soda on purpose, so you can’t be all there.” I tap his temple.

Griffin circles my wrist with his fingers and drops his head, lips brushing over my knuckle. “We can’t all be perfect, now, can we?”

“I suppose not, and perfect is boring.”

“That it is.” He hums against my skin, and I feel it through my entire body. “I would like to try that kiss again, if you’re still interested.”

All Grown Up by Vi Keeland ~ Review Tour w/ Two 4.5 Star Reviews!

All Grown Up eBook Cover

ALL GROWN UP IS LIVE!
A Standalone Contemporary Romance
#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland

SYNOPSIS

When I first encountered Ford Donovan, I had no idea who he was…well, other than the obvious. Young, gorgeous, successful, smart. Did I mention young? If I did, it bears repeating. Ford Donovan was too young for me.

Let’s back up to how it all started. My best friend decided I needed to start dating again. So, without my knowledge, she set up a profile for me on a popular dating site—one that invited men ages twenty-one to twenty-seven to apply for a date. Those nicknamed Cunnilingus King were told they’d go straight to the top for consideration. The profile wasn’t supposed to go live. Another point that bears repeating—it wasn’t supposed to.

Nevertheless, that’s how I met Ford, and we started messaging. He made me laugh; yet I was adamant that because of his age, we could only be friends. But after weeks of wearing me down, I finally agreed to one date only—my first after twenty years of being with my high school sweetheart. I knew it couldn’t last, but I was curious about him.

Though, you know what they say…curiosity kills the cat.

My legs wobbled walking into the restaurant.

Ford was seated at the bar. When he turned around, he took my breath away.

His sexy smile nearly melted my panties.

But…he looked so familiar.

As I got closer I realized why.

He was the son of the neighbor at our family’s summer home.

The boy next door.

Only now…he was all man.

I hadn’t seen him in years.

I left the restaurant and planned to put the entire crazy thing behind me.

Which I did. Until summer came.

And guess who decided to use his family’s summer home this year?Amazon ➜ https://fave.co/2S0MUDf

I LOVED THIS FREAKIN’ BOOK!! Eeeep! I’m giddy after reading and that doesn’t happen often. It was epic. The story was fresh and addicting. The characters and their witty banter had me laughing and then other parts had me cussing. It had all the good feels you need to sit back and enjoy. Super easy to read with a great flow. The connection they had was awesome.

Definitely not a book to miss! Most definitely one I’ll recommend for a while because I won’t be forgetting this story any time soon! Another kick ass read from Vi!

Omg! Loved it! I’m swooning all over the place. I need a Ford…I’m sure my husband won’t mind. Valentina and her situation hit me all in the feels. That woman had married young and given her life to her husband and her family. All of a sudden she’s alone and not sure if she’s ready to jump back in the dating game. Ford was an old soul who had to grow up pretty quickly when his parents passed away and raising his little sister. This story had me all up and down with frustration, little heart pulls, schmexy Ford, sassy banter and the hopefulness of moving forward. Such an epic love story for those going through this sort of starting over midway through their lives. So sweet and I have chills just thinking about it.
