Freaking amazing! The male antagonists were incredibly complex. I was addicted to the tangled emotions these three felt for not only for each other, but for Riley as well. Riley has suffered so much abuse and continues to endure constant obstacles. So of course, these guys need to pile more crap on her. I wanted to scream alongside her at every single setback. Don’t even get me started on Logan, Royce and Grayson. Love them, hate them, want to make the crawl…ugh! I need more of Riley’s story STAT! And some groveling. Lots of groveling.

R.A. Smyth is best known for writing contemporary dark romance filled with unexpected twists, mystery and plenty of steam. What a fantastic story! Mystery, intrigue, betrayal, romance…we have it all intricately woven together into this colorful tale of revenge and loss. I’m in love with these complex characters. Flea/Butterfly is the perfect underdog who naively fights for answers. Florian can be the hard anti-hero who’s part demon and part reluctant savior. The twists were amazing and I was sucked into the fantasy page after page. Can’t wait for more!!!!

I love both of these authors and when they get together to write a dark, paranormal romance…you better believe it’ll be some perfection. I could not put this book down. The Deverauxes enchanted me with their cruel games and seductive allure. London had that don’t give a fck attitude and bad girl vibe that I love. Knight is such a deviant asshole and while I’m addicted to his big dck energy, he can be a complete, utter prick. The paranormal universe is AMAZING and well done. I was thoroughly captivated and may die waiting for the next book. Yes, I’m being overly dramatic but I truly NEED more of this story right now.
