Declan and Hannah…have mercy! These two have the steamiest scenes while also having one of the most volatile relationships I’ve ever read. Crazy hateful interactions where I’d probably have thrown staplers, paper weights…whatever I could get my hands on at Declan. The Dalton family was a joy to catch up with and I freaking love every single one of them. Hannah is one of the young cousins and it was fun to see her holding her own against her older male counterparts and their friend. Declan is a dirty talker that had me melting with every thought or deed. Whew! A fantastic, scorching hot read!

One hundred million stars! I adore the fantasy worlds Ella Fields so effortlessly creates. When I read this romance…my heart felt the longing, heartache, hopeless craving deeply inside me. Aster is so strong to stand up for what is right when she’s been betrayed by the person she trusted the most. Scythe…he’s such a mystery with his stoic, tough guy persona. I loved the way he melted with Aster. Amazing twists and such a great storyline. And soooooo steamy! I mean scorching hot. Highly recommended if you like fantasy romance!

Loved the swoony ending to Dom and Luca’s forbidden mafia romance. Great action/suspense in the beginning of the story while they dealt with the precarious situation from book one. I would have enjoyed more twists and betrayals with how their location being given to the Fiores came about. BUT…I did feel my heart swelling with love for the guys and their forced proximity romance developing throughout the book. Very sweet with how Dom became more in touch with his emotions and Luca became more understanding of the need for vengeance. Made me sigh out loud more than once. Definitely had some steamy scenes and emotional moments as the men grew closer together. A feel good duet that will leave you with a smile.

An intense, suspenseful dark conclusion to Braxton and Clover’s story. I loved every single minute of it. Braxton’s gut instinct that Clover is HIS was the turning point for me in this duet. These two have that angsty desire for one another that pulled at my heartstrings. I love that this series has STRONG (with broken bits) heroines that kick butt and aren’t waiting for some man to save them. They are right there in the middle of the action saving themselves and others. Braxton had a TON of emotional growth and I loved how my broken man found someone that fit with his torn up pieces. For me, this duet was perfection and all of the dark, disturbing bits made it addictive and sucked me in. Definitely an emotional ride but that’s what makes me fall in love with story…something unpredictable with twists that I don’t see coming and ties to a family that may not be the one they were born into. But one that was created and stronger than blood.

“You’re going to have to forgive me at some point,” he replies. “Because I’m not letting you go, Clover.”

“I don’t have to do shit,” I tell him. “It’s my life, my choices. For all the power you have, Brax, you can’t force me to love you.”

His amusement drops away and he reaches up, fingers tightening around my wrist. I press into his carotid artery and feel a responding movement against the lips of my sex. I blink and glance down, shocked. “Are you fucking hard? Now?”

“My baby is sitting, half naked on my dick with her hand around my throat,” he replies coolly. “Were you not trying to get me hard?”[HL1]

On instinct, I release a growl and tighten my hold. “You are so fucked up, Braxton.”

“I could say the same for you, Clover,” he replies. “Or would you prefer Evgenia?”

“I would prefer not to look at your traitorous fucking face, yet here we are.”

“Right,” he agrees readily and then offers me a smug grin before continuing, “with your pussy rubbing against my cock. Perfect place, if you ask me.”

My chest pumps up and down. What now? I think. Do I kill him? Can I? My head fogs over with the desire. “You’re mad at me for leaving,” I say, my words barely above a whisper as his hands creep up the line of my hips. His bare palms skim the outside of my naked thighs.

More heat. More ice. They’re like warring sides within me. One side trying to be calm and rational and the other obliterating it without a care. I can’t tell which will win. I can’t tell which one I want to win.

“And you liked it.”

Fuck him. He’s right. I did like it. A part of me hadn’t wanted to, but he was the fucking best I’d ever had. In my short realm of experience, no man had ever taken me to the same depths, to the same edges as Braxton had. It’d been more than a physical fuck. It’d been a mindfuck as well. As bad as he is, he made me realize something about myself.

I liked the pain.

A wonderful ending to Dani and Chase’s love story. These two have had a long friendship and a hard road to lovers. But they’ve been married as children a dozen times and know in their hearts they will be each other’s forever. Very sweet and swoony relationship and even though there are some rocky times adjusting to college, these two are determined to keep things moving forward as a team. The surprises that Chase gives Dani are so thoughtful and well prepared. The fairytale every girl dreams about. These two kept me smiling and I really have fallen in love with these two families. A gorgeous series with realistic bumps and supportive families. I adore how devoted this couple is!
