Title: Maybe Never
Author: Sadie Allen
Genre: Contemporary Romance
About Maybe Never:
One golden boy…
Judd Jackson had it all—star football player with a college scholarship, perfect family, tons of friends, and a beautiful girlfriend. He was the most popular guy in town … until a family secret burned it all to the ground. Now, he’s the object of scorn and ridicule, and the only thing he has left is his scholarship and counting down the days until he can leave town.
One goal-oriented girl…
Sunny Blackfox was alone in the world, but she had big plans and big dreams to keep her occupied. She didn’t have time for anyone in her life. That was, until she came to the rescue of the boy she always had a thing for.
They have everything going against them, but maybe, if they are lucky, they will make it out of town after graduation together … or maybe never.
I also knew that I couldn’t sit in my Jeep all night thinking about Sunny, so I took a deep breath and prepared myself to walk into the house.
Each step I took felt like I had ankle weights attached to my legs. Then I felt my stomach flip and my heart drop as I heard the music playing from the doorway. My mother’s garbled, tearful voice was singing, but it sounded more like shouting Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You?” I knew which kind of drunk she was tonight.
I walked through the unlocked door and found my mother sprawled on her belly on the couch, one hand waving a large bottle of wine while she continued to sing terribly. She didn’t even notice I was there. What if it hadn’t been me? What if it had been a murdering rapist?
I felt my blood turn cold. I might not like my mother right now, but she was the only parent still around, and I loved her.
I crouched down by the couch and touched her shoulder. “Mom.”
She bent her head back and looked up into my face with eyes that were glassy and unfocused, and a face that was puffy and wet from crying. For a moment, she looked at me like she didn’t know who I was, until she whispered, “Oh, Judd.”
The bottle dropped to the floor with a loud thunk as she wailed, “He left us!”
I looked down at the bottle, prepared to go get some towels to clean up the mess, but nothing spilled out. She had already drunk the whole bottle.
“That bastard,” she mumbled before her head plopped back down. She buried her face into the couch cushion, her whole body heaving in great big sobs.
I left the bottle on the floor and tried to get my mom up so I could get her to the bedroom and into bed. I managed to flip her over, but her body was limp as she continued sobbing.
“Just leave me here to die.”
I sighed and rolled my eyes at her dramatic words. “You’re not dying. Come on; let’s get you up and into bed.”
She sat up, her face the perfect imitation of a toddler’s pout. “Why did he want to be … one of those things, Judd? Tell me why!” she yelled the last part.
“I don’t know, Mom.”
This was not the discussion I wanted to have about my father with her. She never talked about what had happened that night, unless it was to whine, scream, and cry while she was drunk. My mother always acted like he had left her for another woman. I guessed he did in his own way. Except that other woman was himself.
Yeesh. Someone call either Jerry Springer or Dr. Phil.
I managed to get her up on her feet then looped her arm around my shoulders and mine around her waist as I basically dragged her down the hall. That was when the familiar coughing/gagging sound started coming from her, and I tried to double time it to the hall bathroom, but we didn’t make it.
She projectile vomited all over the hall. The sour stench turned my stomach, and I had to fight my own gag reflex.
I took deep breaths through my mouth and closed my eyes. Eff my life.
Sadie Allen lives in Texas with her family and her dog Penny. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, catching up on her favorite shows, or chasing her family around the house.
WOWZA! Talk about a hot read! WOOWEEEE! This is a first time read by this author for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The writing style was one I connected with quickly. The characters were intense and full of spunk and grit. I really liked it a lot.
Bridgewater is a very unique town. When Catherine comes back to handle some family issues she did not expect to find a sexy cowboy. And she definitely wasn’t expecting to want to throw down some roots. She loved the big city life, the craziness, and the hustle. She was a go getter. When she meets Jack on the plane she never thought she would see him again. But boy does she!
Jack and Sam are cousins. And to be honest I thought this was a little weird at first. But as the story progressed I finally understood what they were about. I was on board! They are completely different from one another. Jack fun, Sam serious. But one thing is for sure, they love the women. And they love them damn well.
I wont spoil the book for ya. Youll have to read these sexy cowboys and enjoy. This was a light read. Nothing majorly heavy. It was a blast to read and most definitely very sexy!

They remember her as a pesky kid.
She doesn’t remember them at all.
Her life’s in New York. The property she’s inherited is in Bridgewater, Montana. Sivan has been in and out of foster homes until she lands at Betty’s house. Little did she know that Jax Jayne, youngest brother to a rock band group, would be joining her. Will she be able to keep her walls up to keep the distance between them or will Jax be the one to tear everything down?
“Sivan was different from any girl I’d ever met. Fiery, yes. But I liked that about her. She’d been through something. Grief and loneliness peeked from behind those eyes. And strength, she didn’t know it yet. She also had a vulnerability that made me want to protect her – from everything, past and present.”
This was quite an emotional YA read. A lot more than I anticipated. Both Sivan and Jax had issues they needed to resolve and reasons to maintain walls. I had really never given much thought to how hard it would be to be a twin of someone famous…poor Jax! Not even to go into the trauma that Sivan had suffered. I loved Betty and how she nurtured her foster children and tried to ease them into a loving and healthy family environment. Sivan and Jax were really sweet together and this was a great YA book about healing and young love. Very enjoyable.
If you are looking for a new young adult book, I would definitely give this one a try. Its story has a great sense of family and emotional healing. I would definitely let my daughter read it
MK has always been a voracious reader. After hitting a dry spell of reading material, she decided to write the kind of book she’d like to read. This resulted in the creation of her debut novel, Intentional. (Award for Best Sweet Romance – eFestival of Words- August 2014)
Unintentional, the second book in the series, is based on the life of one of the characters in Intentional (Cade – an engineer/rock star). Unintentional was written as a stand-alone book.
Breaking Braydon, another stand-alone book, is now available on Amazon.
Taking Tiffany (A spin-off) is available now.
MK is currently working on a paranormal romance – The Reader. Due out 2016. When she’s not writing novels, she likes to spend her free time traveling the world, splashing in mud puddles (She lives in Seattle, what can she say?), watching movies and reading (!)
Who knew my brother’s friend could be Mr.
Right, and not just Mr. Right Now?
My brother refused to introduce me, so I blame him. If he’d just
caved, and introduced me to Jasper, I wouldn’t be in this mess. I mean, really,
what’s the big deal? I’m not interested in the guy’s looks.
Oh no, I want his cold hard cash. (Be honest, you were expecting
that other four letter ‘c’ word weren’t you?)
Now, before you go getting all judgy, I’m not a gold digger. I
have a legitimate business opportunity for Jasper to invest in. The problem is
that my stick-up-his-ass brother is embarrassed that his twin sister invents
kick ass sex toys. His problem, not mine.
So, I took matters into my own hands. Defeat isn’t a word in
Lennon Hart’s dictionary.
Using my stealthy P.I. moves, I narrowed my search to a time and
place where I knew I could find him. It was completely innocent. A chance
meeting that would give me the opportunity to pitch my business.
It wasn’t until I sat down across from the gorgeous panty soaking
man in front of me, that I realized I wanted so much more than just his money.
I could very well want his heart if I wasn’t careful.
Apparently my P.I. skills aren’t as stellar as I thought because
Jasper had his own secret—and it changed EVERYTHING.
Piper Rayne, or Piper and Rayne, whichever you prefer because we’re not one author, we’re two. Yep, you get two established authors for the price of one. You might be wondering if you know us? Maybe you’ll read our books and figure it out. Maybe you won’t. Does it really matter?
We aren’t trying to stamp ourselves with a top-secret label. We wanted to write without apology. We wanted to not be pigeon holed into a specific outline. We wanted to give readers a story without them assuming how the story will flow. Everyone has their favorite authors, right? And when you pick up their books, you expect something from them. Whether it’s an alpha male, heavy angst, a happily ever after, there’s something you are absolutely certain the book will contain. Heck, we’re readers, too, we get it.What can we tell you about ourselves? We both have kindle’s full of one-clickable books. We’re both married to husbands who drive us to drink. We’re both chauffeurs to our kids. Most of all, we love hot heroes and quirky heroines that make us laugh, and we hope you do, too.
Elon hasn’t had the best childhood but now she’s doing well. She has dreams and she’s been focused for so long. They are within her grasp. Until she sees Nate, her new professor. Her new crush. Both of them have experienced devastating events but once they touch, they can’t seem to deny this attraction. Will it be worth the risk to have a taste of the forbidden?
“His mouth hovers above mine, his breath fanning my lips. I’m a star, burning through the sky. I’m falling, plummeting to Earth faster than gravity. I’m smiling now because this feels like being adored, appreciated. Wanted. Something I’ve never experienced before. My eyes fall shut as his lips brush my brow, cheek, jaw, whispering words that mean nothing and everything, and I’m no longer dropping. I’m flying, breaking gravity.”
This was my first book by Autumn Grey but the beautiful cover just called out to me to give it a try. This student/teacher story was so much more than your typical alpha teacher and timid student wanting to walk on the wild side. Elon has an abusive background from an ex-boyfriend and her father. She seems to be getting stronger and deep down looking for a healthy kind of love. Nate has always been her musical inspiration. Fate made him her professor. He’s also recovering from a tragic past and I liked that throughout the story they appear to be healing each other. And yes, there are lots of sexy scenes. Ok…I’m not saying there aren’t. Between those and the twists this story takes, I was pretty entertained right from the beginning to the end.
I did not read the first book in this series, Fall Back Skyward, but I think I want to. These sisters have me intrigued and I want to know their stories. They have a close family connection that really makes my heart sing.
Aspiring singer Iris Easton’s life has never been easy. First, her mother walked out on her when she was a kid. Now she’s buried in debt, weeks after losing her beloved grandmother. When a mysterious and sexy new guy moves in next door, Iris can’t help but be drawn to his soulful gaze. She can tell there’s something from his past haunting him—something he’s not telling her.
Just as Ace starts falling for Iris, the media go on a worldwide hunt to find the missing rocker. Will true love conquer all, or will the truth be the very thing that tears the couple apart?
Autumn Grey is the author of Havoc, Obliterate, Mend (Havoc series) and Fall Back Skyward. And just like her characters, she is quirky, sometimes funny and definitely flawed. She writes sexy contemporary romances full of drama, steamy kisses and happy ever afters.
Nolan Parker and Clara Lawrence never saw eye to eye. In fact, if you asked Clara she would tell you that Nolan hated everything about her. They never shared any form of connection beside Alex Lawrence.
She was Alex’s bratty sister and he was Alex’s best friend, they never stood a chance.
That was until the very moment Clara opens her front door to find Noel at her doorstep.
Falling in love with each other was the last thing either of them expected.
But then it happened.
And sometimes, you just have to love for all your days and all your reasons.
Clara’s squinted her eyes at Noel, and he stopped his laugh immediately.
“What?” he asked.
“If we are going to enjoy the sun and this day then you need to take that shirt off… now!” Clara ordered before she stood up and looked down at him with a raised eyebrow.
“What have you done with my Clara?” Noel sarcastically asked as he, too, stood.
“Yours, you say?” Clara tilted her head and a smile spread across his face. He wrapped his arms around Clara’s waist, bringing her closer as she circled her arms around his neck.
“Yes, but you should know that it’s you who completely owns me. Clara Lawrence, you own the one thing no woman has ever come close to holding and that’s my heart. I may have been with other women before you, but they don’t matter. You should know that if you take off, I won’t make any promises about watching you walk away. I plan on running after you and making you change your mind. I plan on begging you until my very last breath to stop running from me.
“I don’t want you to feel another inch of sadness again. Not when I’m around, because I intend on making you happy for the rest of your days. I promise, Clara, I’ll count every grain of sand on this beach if it makes you happy. I’ll do what it takes, because it was always you, and it took me a stupid amount of time to realise it.” Not a single lie came from his mouth.
She looked stunned at his words. Her eyes filled with unshed tears. Clara removed her arms from his neck and placed both hands on his cheeks, running her thumbs along his cheekbones.
“What happened to the jerk?” she asked. Clara’s unshed tears glistened her big brown eyes. She blinked, and they fell freely.
“Yeah, the jerk that stood at my front door and called me a brat. Said he’d rather swim with sharks than be around me, who teased me and pranced around my apartment naked. I kinda miss him. What happened to him?” Her teasing smile had Noel smirking.
That stupid jerk fell in love.
“Is that so? You miss me being a jerk?”
“Correction, you’re still a jerk, but you’re a sweet jerk,” Clara teased, and he let go of her waist.
“That’s it!” Noel yelled as he grabbed the hem of his shirt and lifted it over his head, dropping it on the sand. Clara’s eyes made their way down his solid chest before returning to meet his; he could see the anticipation shining through, but then Clara frowned.
“You wouldn’t.” She cocked an eyebrow.
“You better run.” He watched her contemplate if he’d deliver on his unspoken warning of throwing her in the water, like when they were kids. When Clara looked at Noel’s smirk, she bolted towards the lifeguard house and away from the water.
He counted to three before he ran after her. It didn’t matter how many seconds he’d give her. He’d always catch her; he’d never stop until he did. Noel reached out and grabbed her by the waist to stop her running. He pulled her in close, bent his knees, and swept her in his arms.
“No! Please, Noel! Don’t!” She fought in his arms and started to squirm. When she realised that he was going to dump her in the water, she wrapped her arms tight around his neck. He carried Clara closer to the shore; she breathed in and out as her arms tightened around him. When his feet touched the water, Clara’s eyes widened. Noel let out a chuckle.
He concentrated on making sure he didn’t lose his balance with each step he took. Clara squeezed her arms around him and her lips touched the spot on his neck just below his earlobe. He tried to ignore the feel of her ghosting kisses up and down his skin, but they were hard to ignore. Each small kiss igniting the fire inside of him, and each one felt like little shots of electricity that raced through his veins.
It didn’t take long until the water reached just under his ribcage. The water had darkened, and he couldn’t see the sand below. Trying to concentrate while having Clara kiss his neck was extremely hard, considering all he wanted were those soft lips on his. It seemed like Clara knew what he wanted as she maneuvered herself in his arms and placed a lingering kiss on his lips that sent his balance flying out the window.
“Noel!” Clara squealed before the both fell into the water. The coolness of the water washed over Noel’s body and provided him with the relief he desperately needed. Even when they fell in the water, he didn’t let go of her; in fact, he held her tighter and emerged from the water still holding her.
“You okay?” he laughed. Noel set Clara on her feet and watched droplets of water shimmer against her hair and skin.
“You didn’t lie when you said you’d chase me,” she replied, trying to dry her face with her hands.
“Not a promise I’m willing to break.” Noel winked and slowly swam around to Clara’s back. He stood up in the water, wrapped his arms around her waist, and placed a kiss on her cheek before resting his chin on her shoulder.
“I believe you,” Clara replied as she tilted her head slightly and snuggled into his embrace. The sound of children laughing and the busy beach slowly started to fade away as he held Clara in his arms, lost in their own world.

Madison Phillips is focused on making her new coffee shop a success. She also wouldn’t mind if the sexiest cop in Seattle, Gabriel Martinez, would start seeing her as more than just his best friend’s little sister. When her shop gets robbed and she’s the only one who can identify the increasingly violent Espresso Bandit, Gabe’s there to keep her safe. Having Gabe act as her personal bodyguard is certainly no hardship, and Maddy’s ready to try anything to tempt him into providing some hands-on protection.
“I was just about to head back inside. Nice to see you again, Maddie.” Gabe stepped toward the door.
Tell him to stop, she ordered herself. Ask him out to dinner.
“Nobody calls me Maddie anymore.” She winced. Okay, totally blew that one.
“Gotcha.” He gave a slight smile and opened the sliding glass door to the house. He sounded almost disappointed when he murmured, “You sure have grown up, haven’t you?”
Madison darted forward in her Valentino heels, trying not to trip as she intercepted him at the door.
“I don’t know if Eric told you,” she began, “but I’m opening up my own espresso shop. The grand opening is Monday morning.”
His eyes held the faintest flicker of surprise, “Really? Hmm. Maddie Phillips, the newest coffee entrepreneur.”
“Madison. I know, isn’t it great?” She laughed, and her attention caught on his hard chest outlined through his Seahawks T-shirt. Swallowing hard as her pulse skipped, she tore her gaze away and fumbled in her purse for a business card and pen.
She scrawled a hurried note on it and handed it to him. “Here’s my card. I wrote you a coupon for a free drink. I’ll be getting things set up all weekend, so if you drop by, I can make you a practice mocha.”
“Ooo La Latté. Nice name.” He glanced up from the card and started to hand it back to her. “But I’m not big on coffee—”
“We also have tea,” she interrupted, a little more forcefully than necessary. “And hot chocolate. In any case, it’s a free beverage. You can’t pass that up.”
He remained quiet for a moment, then nodded. “You’re right, I can’t. I’ll see if I can drop by.”
He tucked the card into the back pocket of his jeans.
“I’m going to need a big, faithful customer base, so I hope you come by often.” She touched his arm and felt the bulge of his biceps.
This time, she didn’t miss the flicker of sexual awareness in his eyes, and her pulse sped up. This was pretty forward, even for her.
“After all,” she continued, her voice husky. “You really should support your best friend’s little sister.”
His eyes narrowed, and she knew she’d made a massive mistake. Great, Madison. She ground her teeth together. Remind him that you’re Eric’s little sister.
“You know what? I’m going to grab some of that crab quiche. So yummy. See you this weekend, Gabe.” She slid past him, smothering a gasp when her hip brushed his thigh as she opened the door and went back into the house.
ABOUT SHELLI STEVENS

Shelli currently lives in the Pacific Northwest with her daughter. She’s a compulsive volunteer, and has been known to spontaneously burst into song.
There could never be a reality show about my life. It’d just be work and sex. Lots and lots of sex. No breakups. No fights with friends. Zero drama. Drama’s for the movies. Not for me.
I’m Riley Johnson. I’ve got it all. Brand new jet. Exotic cars. Luxury penthouse. Black card. A different aspiring actress (or two) in my bed every night. I run Captive Films. Where we leave you begging for more. Or maybe that’s just me.
My life is perfect. . . Until she walks back into it.
The Hollywood Love series follows the lives and loves of those who work at Captive Films: Hot, successful, playboy Riley Johnson, whose business success far exceeds his success in love. Movie star, Keatyn Douglas, whose epic love story has spawned a series of books and movies. And Dawson Johnson, who joins Captive with a tragic past. Expect lots of drama, sex, and tabloid-worthy events.

Riley Johnson has made a name for himself in the motion picture business. Along with his two best friends, Keatyn Douglas and Dallas McMahon, they’ve built a company that anyone would be proud of. Although Keatyn and Dallas have found their true loves, Riley has been busy playing the field and giving up on love since Ariella broke his heart at their high school graduation. When Ariela enters their lives again, Riley isn’t sure he can forgive her and this is their continuing story.
“…I want to share a quote with you that my dad shared with me when I got my first acting role. Eleanor Roosevelt once said that ‘The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.’ At the time, I thought it related to my achieving my dream of being an actor, but now I understand it so much better. You are my future, Katie, because you are the beauty of my dreams.”
Sex is the continuation of The Keatyn Chronicles. We have weddings, babies and more relationship drama. I loved Keatyn and Aiden’s wedding and honeymoon. Everything about these two makes me smile. Their love has just grown from what they had in high school and he is her Moon Boy. Dallas is another of my happy places I like to visit in this story. He’s just as in love with RiAnne as he was when they first got together. Same with Knox. He’s such a go-getter! I couldn’t believe where fate takes him. Dawson and Vanessa…things can’t always be smooth but still adore these two together. That brings me to Riley. That man is not doing much to get off my naughty list. I just can’t relate to him at all. You say you still have feelings but are afraid of being hurt. You rush into this new predicament. Sigh. He makes my heart hurt. Of all of the characters from the Keatyn books, I just don’t understand how he could be so indecisive besides his convoluted reasoning. I’m ready for Ariela to move on.
I would also recommend you check out Jillian’s other books. That Boy is a great read with hot football players. Vegas Love and the Love series has three brothers who will get your motor running. I always wind up smiling while reading and maybe throwing my kindle in angst.
Jillian is a USA TODAY bestselling author who writes fun romances with characters her readers fall in love with, from the boy next door in the That Boy trilogy, to the daughter of a famous actress in The Keatyn Chronicles, to a kick-ass young assassin in the Spy Girl series.
