What happens when the universe gets in the way of your “follow through”?

Truth: A painful condition caused by a prolonged state of
sexual arousal without release.
Myth: Only affects males.
I’m beyond frustrated with the man who’s left me high and
very far from dry. Multiple times. But, somehow, even though I’m not interested
in a relationship, Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome keeps me coming back for more—one
crazy, sexual debacle after the next.
Come hell or high water, the stars will align, and the
release will be out of this world.
JACK I’m captivated with the woman who’s left me
sixty-nine shades of blue, and she’s only in this for one thing. The first
time, I blew it—and not in the good way—but I’m going to ensure we finally
see it through. I need to put an end to this “plague” of sexual
calamities and prove to Sarah that we can have more.

It’s time to grab the universe by the balls and show it
who’s boss.

This was a love story that was a quick read. While I didn’t love this book, it did have its moments and kept me reading.

Jack is a nerd turned hot guy and turns many a heads and is slowly falling in love with Sarah. He pulls out all the stops to make her fall for him too. Sarah, who is obsessed with chocolate (and adds nothing to story and confused me) is focused on her job and does not believe in love. She deep down would like to have it all but her head forces her to keep love at bay.

There are so many dates (wink-wink) that go wrong and both are left wanting more. Some of these mishaps/moments were downright funny and some seemed forced to be funny. Like the author was trying too hard to make the reader laugh. At times it was more corny then funny but it didn’t stop me from reading. All in all it was a cute love story, had some funny exchanges and inner thoughts and a few sexy scenes (with most ending in disaster).

I’d recommend….cute beach summer read that holds your interest and will give you few laughs along the way.

Ten years ago we said goodbye.

I left the world I knew to create a new life for myself. Away from the lies. Away from the pain.

It was all going as planned until a friend asked for help with her club. The business was liberating. The company was intoxicating.

Two masked men became my euphoria. One was a player deep in the game. A teacher both intimately and figuratively.

The other was a quiet director. A man who tempted me with his stares and set me on fire with his dark whispers.

His secrecy excited me, bringing me to levels I’ve never imagined. I thought we were playing a game, but little did I know he knew exactly who I was.

I just wish I figured out his true identity before I fell for his best friend.

Carter….(oh how I love Carter) he is a pediatric oncologist (hot, hot, hot) and single. He has been pining away for the love of his life that he lost years ago and has never gotten over. He has never found anyone that can compare and he has never given up finding the girl he gave his heart to and then she disappeared one night. He looks for her because he knows the secret she was keeping when she left and he needs to find her. Oh yeah, Cole is one of his only friends. Lets say they bonded in an unconventional way.

Fast forward to Evangeline having a chance to visit and take a peek around said sex club….(everyone has masks on to keep anonymous) she runs into not one, but two sexy masked men and lets just say there are some intense, sex scenes!! Super hot!!! Things get weird though when identities are discovered and secrets are revealed. Talk about a twist!!! Holy moly!!! All lives are upended and it was a real page turner watching where all the pieces fall.

Definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading about other characters.

Sexy lovers in bedroom

“Angie Smith?”

My lips tilt up slightly. “Pleasure to meet you.”

“Funny, sometimes you can tell because their name just fits them. I would never guess you for an Angie.”

“Why would you say that?”

He taps his lower lip with a long, deft finger, and I’m instantly distracted by the thought of what that finger could do.

“I don’t know. Just something told me that wasn’t you. You and Ashley were the only two people I couldn’t find any pictures of or any info on really. You guys are smart, or should I add, private.”

“Let’s go with private.” I wink, which makes him raise his eyebrows. I can tell I’m the oldest in the class, and the mad professor here seems to be closer to my age, but I’m still trying to figure out what his name is. “Can I play your little game?”

His lips push together as he nods his head in interest. “By all means. Do you want the class list?”

“No, I bet I can guess your name.”

His head moves up and down slowly. “Take your best shot.” His arms open wide, allowing me to fully take in every part of him.

“Let’s see. I know it starts with a C by my registration, but you have that whole nerdy, indie vibe going on, so I’m going to rule out Chris, Charlie, and Cameron.” The barely noticeable lift to his lips tells me that neither of those is his name, so I start naming off every C name I can think of, waiting for any type of reaction to show in his features. “Christian, Caleb, Connor, Cody, Colin, Cole—” The twitch in his eye makes me stop. I pause, looking him up and down before slightly tilting my head in recognition. “Nice to meet you, Cole.”

The grin covering his face makes me sit back in my chair. Yup, I’m made for this.
“Nicely done, Angie. The master gets beat at his own game. After class you’re going to have to tell me more about how you did that.”

“Anytime, Professor Spence,” I say in a flirtatious way.

His eyes meet mine for what I think is a second too long for a student/teacher moment, but I don’t mind. When they break away, he addresses everyone else, “This course is going to be interactive, and I encourage participation. So, everyone get up, move closer, and gather around Mrs. Smith here.” He returns my earlier wink
before turning back around and writing his name across the board.

I’m intrigued by his lecture the entire night, and yeah, a lot of it was because he’s easy on the eye. I also happen to love the way he challenges people and really gets us involved.

When he says good night, I turn to gather my things and am startled when I hear, “Angie, can I talk to you for a minute?”

My eyes meet with a fellow female student, who I shoot a smile before turning around. “Sure, Professor Spence.”

As I approach his desk, he’s gathering his paperwork to put into his backpack. He stops and turns to face me, leaning against the back of the desk and crossing his arms in front of his body. “So tell me, how did you guess my name?”

I tilt my head to the side, showing him the slightest grin. “Well, that’s my little secret. Just like you said, though, you can learn a lot about a person if you pay close enough attention.”

“I’m impressed. Still can’t believe I got your name wrong. First time that little game didn’t work out for me fully. Please tell me Angie isn’t your real name. Give me some kind of hope.”

I close my eyes, smiling but nodding my head slightly. “Okay, I’ll give you that. Angie isn’t my birth name. I legally changed it years ago.” I can’t believe I just told him that. No one here in San Francisco, or hell, in California, knows that Angie isn’t my real name. For some reason, I felt comfortable enough in this moment to
admit it.

“Okay, I feel a little bit better now, like I’m not a complete failure at my own game. But how did you know mine?”

“I was already trying to guess what it was before you even spoke. I guess I like to play little games, too.”

He laughs. “That doesn’t answer my question, though.”

“I looked at what you were wearing, how you walked, your body type, the fact that you carry a Vans backpack instead of a briefcase.” I pick up his backpack to prove my point. “Then, just like you, I paid attention and took a gamble. I guess you can say I’m good at reading facial expressions. You gave it away when your eye twitched slightly after I said Cole.”

“Nicely done. You just might be cut out for this lawyer thing after all. So do I get to know your real name?”

I shake my head. “Nope, sorry. To you and everyone else, I’m Angie.” I start to walk away but look over my shoulder. “No offense, though.”

I hear him chuckle as he says, “None taken. See you Wednesday, Mrs. Smith.”

I turn back again, giving him a quick smile before saying, “It’s miss.”

Series: A Redemption Novel
Genre: Romantic Suspense

“I’m wrecked, ruined, destroyed, and in awe.” – #1 New York Times bestselling author, Rachel Van Dyken

The next captivating installment in New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams’s Redemption series.
As the Princess of the Irish-American Mob, there’s no shortage of men ready to help guard and protect me. To slowly suffocate me to the point of seeking freedom—a place where I can breathe.
Kieran Hayes has been saving me for as long as I can remember. It’s in his blood, and one of the many reasons I fell in love with him. Until my favorite trait became his biggest flaw, making me resent the man I love. An unwavering warrior, his love for me has been shrouded by those instincts.
Save Lily. Protect Lily. Hide Lily. Cage Lily.
What I wasn’t prepared for was Dare—the man who would set my world on fire with just one touch. He saw straight through to my soul, as though he knew I was desperate for freedom, and silently demanded my heart from the beginning.
And I didn’t expect Dare to be Demitri Borello—the reason for so many deaths in my family. A man who will take my life the moment he finds out who I am.
Despite it all, I’ll love him until that moment comes.
A fire will die if there is no oxygen for it to consume. Ours is rapidly stealing every last breath we can sacrifice to it.

Wow, make sure you have time to read this book all at once because you are not gonna want to put it down! Prepare to be put on a rollercoaster! To say you get wrapped up in the storyline and all the emotions would be an understatement.

Lily…..oh poor Lily…..In love for years with her mob assassin, protector, underboss to her father boyfriend Kieran. He will do anything to protect her….anything. Lily however has so many facets to her and her story will have you salivating for more. It’s complicated and has many twists and turns. My heart hurt for them and the story that unfolds between them.

Dare is a mystery man passing Lily notes at the same eatery they go to….for 2 years!! He is the most beautiful man she has ever seen (besides Kieran) and she has the need to know more about him. Needless to say, Dare and Lily have an attraction and connection. They only know each other on the surface because they are both hiding their true identities (gasp!).

Lets just say that these star crossed lovers reminded me of Romeo and Juliet and I wasn’t sure they would survive the truth once it comes out. This book had it all, angst, mystery, twists, love, heartbreak, rebirth, some steamy love scenes and bouts of laugh out loud moments. It was action packed and I found myself holding my breath more then once. You can feel Lily’s heartbreak of being torn, you can feel Kieran’s despair of possibly losing the love of his life, the woman he would die for….and Dare…losing the piece of himself that has been missing and he just found.

I highly recommend you try this series and be prepared for this ride!

“Nothing’s getting past me,” I assured her.
Her breath washed over my lips as I leaned in to kiss her again when she whispered, “I thought we were talking about you.”
I paused for a few seconds, then looked up into her hazel eyes. “What?”
“I think I’m in danger from you.”
My brow pulled tight, and I forced out a low, frustrated laugh. “Me.”
She nodded again, the movement of her head so slow as her eyes explored mine. “I need you to let me go for so many reasons, but I easily forget why when you don’t. I think there was a reason neither of us crossed that invisible barrier before today. Because being in your arms?” She hesitated, her tongue quickly darting out to wet her lips. “Trust me, it’s dangerous.”
A weight pressed down on my chest, making it hard to breathe. Because damn it if she wasn’t right.
There were dozens of girls over the years who’d meant nothing more than a night. Maybe two. Not one could I remember the name of, most I couldn’t remember their face.
Then there’d been one who I would’ve sold my soul for if I could’ve had one more night with her.
My days with her had been everything. A slow burn that had built over time until I hadn’t been able to get enough of her. Until she’d meant too much.
And there hadn’t been a girl since.
Not a second glance. Not a thought. Nothing.
Until one morning at Brooks a few years ago.
But there was nothing slow about the thoughts and needs for the girl pressed against me. There hadn’t been since the very first morning I’d found her staring at a mirror like it had the power to destroy her world. Like that possibility fascinated her.
Fuck, if I didn’t need to find out why.
Dangerous was exactly what we were. Only she had no idea just how much.
My gut twisted as unwanted thoughts entered my mind, but I pushed them away. Because I knew what I needed to do. I needed to let her go and force myself not to follow.
But when there’s a flicker of light in your life after so much darkness, it’s impossible to stay away.
And this girl burned so damn bright.
Calling to me and beckoning me toward her, and I knew no matter how many times I let her slip away, I would follow her just to catch her again.
I brushed my thumb across her full lips. “Goddamn firefly.”

A powerhouse romantic suspense that will have you questioning your morals and second guessing your view on love.

Beautiful Mistake by Vi Keeland ~Release Tour w/ Reviews

By Vi Keeland

The first time I met Caine West was in a bar.

He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out.

When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass.

You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend–smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married.

He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he’d done.

Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant.

Only it turned out, the man I’d just told off wasn’t the right guy.

Oops.  My mistake.

Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology.

I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right?

That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning.

Well, hello Professor West, I’m your new teaching assistant.

I’ll be working under you…figuratively speaking.

Although the literal interpretation might not be such a bad thing—working under Professor West.

This was going to be interesting…

Y’all!!! Vi does this every time, she makes me fall for the characters and want more than is offered from the story told. For me there was plenty of swooning, panty melting, laugh out loud moments. I love that Vi always makes strong female characters, and males that are willing to bend for the woman they fall hard for.

Caine West, holy shit ladies!! This dude is hot, slightly cocky, seems to be on the straight and narrow (until you find out what his past used to be), he WILL make you swoon.

Rachel, always running late, in a hurry, hard worker, and horny as hell.

The way these two meet had me laughing out loud, and then the finding out that Caine is her TA is just hilarious. To say they got started off on the wrong foot in a understatement. They work past their first meeting and soon form a fast sexual tension filled student/teacher relationship.

Who will break first? Who can’t fight the innuendos, looks, and tension between them any longer? Oh, you so want to read to find out!! 😉

It’s no shocker that I LOVED Beautiful Mistake. I loved the banter, sexy times, the characters in general, and the storyline between them, and the BIG shocker/twist in the story that I didn’t see coming! I whole heartedly recommend this book, it’s a fabulous summer read!

Ok so I want to start by saying that this book has a pretty big twist in it, which makes writing this review on the hard side. There is so much I want you to know but letting one, teeny, tiny little piece of info out will give too much away. I’m just going to give you the basics which will be similar to the blurb, not because I don’t want to blurt everything out….but it’s definitely a must read and I want you to have the same experience I did.

So, the book started out a little slow for me and was on a slow incline but I kept going. Rachel is in a bar and her drunk BFF points out a guy who recently screwed her over. During a conversation with said jerk, Rachel rips into the guy giving him a piece of her mind! She gives him a tongue lashing accusing him of being a two timer who is married with kids, etc, etc.  He doesn’t seem offended but rather amused by her tantrum.  She does however realize later that the hot guy she just told off…..not the guy who two timed her friend…Case of mistaken identity or rather a drunk friend pointing in the general vicinity of a bunch of guys LOL.

Fast forward to the next day where is to start her first day as a TA at her college and is running late.  One of the very few things she has heard about this professor is that he hates tardiness….she is aware this is not the best way to start this day off.  Yes, you guessed it…hot, married, cheating guy from last night is her professor Caine West.  It is comical to see these two struggling to get through the next few conversations.  At this point I honestly thought ok, so this is gonna be another story of teacher/student (or TA) forbidden love story.  Will someone find out and blackmail them?  Will the school find out and fire him?  Will she lose her TA position?  I figured ehhhh…..not much different from the other 100 books with this storyline.  ONLY……its not.  While a large portion of the book is about their professional relationship and budding personal relationship there is a huge plot twist that literally sneaks up on you and punches you in the face!!

I started to figure it out right before it was said in the book….and wow!  Never saw it coming until literally right before the characters realize it. It was startling to say the least and quickly changed my opinion of this book. I had only wished that the twist had come out earlier….it was so close to the end of the slow moving book that I wanted more.  The chapters of the characters realization and seeing how it played out came too close to the end and I wished it could have been longer!!!  BUT…..all the same, I was riveted and anxious to see how it all plays out!  It is heartwarming and endearing!

There are plenty of sexy hot sex scenes to keep you turning the pages until you start to see where the storyline can be going and once you realize it the pages will fly by.  I loved the slow build up of their connection and their witty banter back and forth. As far as the twist and the end….holy amazeballs!!!  Loved that part of it!!  Definately a must read!

If you’re looking for a fun, suspenseful and quick read then this book is for you.

Evan and Carys have been friends since childhood, their parents are all best friends and run a business together. When the kids are young, 3 of the 4 parents are gunned down in a horrific drive by shooting. The only one that is left is one of the mothers, who after a few months has all of the kids under one roof and is raising them all alone and running the business.

Evan and Carys from a young age always had an unbreakable bond and they get closer and closer until their friendship turns into a relationship in their mid to late teens. After being apart for some time due to Evan going in the service, things change.

Evan and Carys go through a lot, Evan ends up leaving…his reasons for leaving are heartbreaking. Can Carys and Evan find their way back to each other? Will Carys be able to forgive the only man she has truly loved? What will the family do with the information Evan has given them as to why he left?

I loved reading the first part of the book and seeing the foundation that their relationship is built on. Their bond and attraction is palpable and I love Evan!!! It broke my heart to see why he had to leave and it broke even more to see him return and have to find his place back in everyones lives.

This book had a little bit of everything….angst, mystery, love, humor and a few hot, hot sex scenes. It kept me turning the pages and when I got to the end I had wished I had a few more pages to read. I will definitely be reading more in this series to follow up on some of the other (hot guys!) characters we saw in this book. Great beach read!

“Evan, I want to know what happened, but I have a life now and you need to know…” She trails off, her eyes darting away from mine.“What?”

Gazing up at me, she continues, “Whatever you have to say, it’s not going to change a thing. We’re over.”

My heart twists and breathing becomes difficult. Mother fuck, her words cut deep, hurting even though they aren’t true. Sure, she believes them on some level—she had to, in order to get through what I did. Yet, along with the hurt and disappointment swimming in her eyes, there’s also tenderness and love.

“Tell me you’re happy and I’ll walk away.”

We always pushed each other, challenged the other to face our fears, to be honest with ourselves, with each other. I need to hear her say it. I don’t believe it, but if she is over me, I need to hear it in her voice and see it in her face—not because I want to, but because it’s the only way I can even begin to accept that we’re over. Even then, it’s not possible.

“I’m happy.” Her tone is laden with bravado, but no true emotion. Even her gaze, which never wavers from mine, is flat.

Shaking my head, I briefly cast my eyes downward to suppress my smile. “No, you’re not.”

“Van.” I flinch at that fucking name.

As a child, I thought it was so fucking cool to have a nickname that only my best friends would call me. Now, hearing “Van” from her pretty lips, I want to obliterate the word from her vocabulary, fucking kiss the word out of her.

“You can call me asshole for all I care, you’re not happy,” I retort in frustration. Catching my tone, I breathe deeply and loosen my fists to relax. “Don’t lie to me, and most of all, don’t lie to yourself.”

“You don’t know what you’re talking about. You want to see what you want. I’m with Greg, and we’re happy.”

She grimaces infinitesimally, then averts her eyes from me. Unable to read her, I’m not sure if it’s because she means it and doesn’t want to hurt my feelings or if the lie tastes nasty in her mouth.

“Sweetness, I know everything there is to know about you, without apology. You can’t lie to me.”

This book confused the hell out of me..Wyatt is mourning the death of his partner Mike. Both of them being cops in a small (and I mean small town). Grace is Mikes widow who Wyatt has been secretly in love with for years.

Now that Mike has been gone a year they are letting their attraction to each other become apparent. This means the the rest of the police force which is a bunch of guys who to tell you the truth I can’t keep track of and it was very confusing. This one likes this one, that one likes that one but cant be with that one….it was like watching my high school years on video.

In the midst of Grace and Wyatt’s high school crush’s being revealed and more innuendos about others crushes and love lives….there is a murder…scratches head.

It was confusing and nothing and I mean nothing exciting happens. The relationship goes at snail speed and the investigation into the murder even slower. Thank god this book was short because I don’t think I could have taken it being longer.

Maybe This is Love by Jennifer Snow Release Day Blitz

“Relax,” he said smoothly, his gaze locked on hers, his expression soft, unfazed—the look of a man not dancing with the lawyer who could ruin his life or at least playoff season. She had to learn this guy’s secret, because there was no way he was this unaffected. Yet, his hands weren’t sweating the ways hers threatened to, and the only heartbeat she could hear thundering was her own.

She forced a slow and what she hoped was unobvious breath. “I am relaxed. I’m not the one who should be worried.”

The palm of his hand spread across the exposed flesh of her back and she prayed the tingling sensation in her spine didn’t result in goose bumps. “So you’re saying I should be?” he asked, turning them in rotation to the steady beat. Despite her resistance to this dance, her hips betrayed her by swaying in sync with his, and her feet kept time with his every step. He led with a silent authority that she was forced to follow. And for the first time in her life, she wasn’t hating giving up control.

“I think so, yes. My client is…”

He brought their joined hands between them and placed a finger to her lips.

Her heart all but stopped.

“Why don’t we save the shop talk for the courtroom? Let’s just enjoy this dance.”

She swallowed hard, but nodded. Dancing in silence, she could do that.

Unfortunately, Ben seemed eager to chat. “How long have you been practicing law?”

He expected her to remember stats as his hand on her back dipped slightly lower, his hold drawing her even closer? It had been far too long since she’d been enveloped in the arms of a man who felt and smelled so strong, so confident…How long would it be again if she went ahead with her plans for a baby? She pushed the thought aside when he stared at her, still waiting for an answer. “Twelve years,” she said, cutting out her time as a junior lawyer and intern, so as not to age herself. She knew from his online Wikipedia page that he was thirty-four, two years younger than she.

“Do you love what you do?” he asked.

“If I say no will I get the inspirational ‘do what you love and it will never feel like work’ speech?”

Is that a no?”

She shook her head. “Actually, I really do enjoy my job.” She couldn’t say watching families get ripped apart by bitter divorces was something she loved without sounding like a sociopath, but she enjoyed her career.

“Can I ask why only professional athlete divorces?”

“I was dumped by a jock,” she said.

Ben laughed. “So one guy ruined it for us all, huh?”

She nodded then shook her head. “No. Everyday cases—with normal, everyday husbands and wives—just seemed a little too…real,” she said.

His blue eyes burned into her and his grip tightened on her hand. “So, guys like me aren’t real?”

She swallowed hard. He felt real…He felt more than real—he felt amazing. His arm wrapped around her felt deceivingly safe and his hand holding hers felt warm and secure. God, she could see herself giving in to these painfully real feelings…“You’re probably one of the more real ones,” she said, hoping he didn’t detect the slight quiver in her voice.

He nodded slowly as though unsure whether her words were a compliment. “Have you ever been married?” he asked, rotating them in time to the music.

“That’s crossing a line into personal.”

“That’s less personal?” She raised an eyebrow.

He smiled. “Guarded much?”

The effect of his smile from a safe distance was knee-weakening. This close, it was downright dangerous. She quickly averted her gaze to the other couples on the floor. “How long is this song anyway?” She felt trapped the way she had in tenth grade when Robbie Gropes-a-Lot Harris had tricked her into dancing with him at the winter formal to “November Rain”—the full eleven-minute extended version. Except Ben’s breath smelled minty fresh and not like tacos, and his arm draped across her lower back made every fiber in her being spring to life, making her want to flee for a completely different reason than the one Robbie had evoked.

“Do I make you uncomfortable?”

Damn right. And it should be her making him uncomfortable. There needed to be a power shift between them and fast. “Of course not.”

He pulled her closer. “You make me uncomfortable,” he murmured, his expression suddenly serious. Every inch of her body was pressed to his and she could barely catch a breath. Dancing was a really bad idea—a torturously bad idea. Being in his arms reminded her of all of the things she’d sacrificed for her career, of all the things she’d told herself she didn’t need…

“G-good,” she said, her voice cracking. “As I said, my client…”

“I don’t mean the divorce case. I mean you.” He touched her cheek and her skin burned. Thank God he was holding her so tightly because she couldn’t trust her legs.

Their stare locked and held for what could have been a lifetime, as everything seemed still and quiet around them.

Still and quiet.

The song had ended.

She yanked her hand free of his and stumbled away from him, inhaling a gulp of air into her deprived lungs. “Well, dance is over. I’ll…uh…see you.”

He nodded, the charming polite smile back on his face and for a second she wondered if she’d imagined the intensity in his gaze seconds before. “Goodnight, Olivia.”

Her own name sounded foreign coming from him. She longed to hear the sound again, and she was an idiot for wanting something so dangerous. The NHL’s biggest playboy had just worked his charm on her, and she’d lost all common sense.

She turned and headed straight for the table, leaving him on the dance floor.

She had to pull it together, but she also had to admit the unfortunate truth. Never before had she been tempted to kiss the enemy.

God how I wanted to love this book……I truly did.  It had all the right moving pieces…hot hockey player, hot female lead, good twist….all the right pieces.but once the story starting going, those pieces just did not fit well together, for me anyway.
Olivia Davis is a lawyer, not just any lawyer though…she is one of the best around and she just got a case involving a famous hockey player who evidentally had a wild night out a few months back and doesnt remember getting married to her new client she is representing.  As if she doesnt have enough on her plate….you see she is in the process of invitro.  Now, she does not have a husband. Nor a boyfriend…yep, she is single and feels she is getting too old and decides to have a child on her own.
Enter Ben Westmore….hot hockey god and new husband….so it seems.  He remembers being drunk…really drunk and well that is about it.  After his lawyer does some digging, he realizes what a mistake he made and goes to meet with the woman and her lawyer.
Naturally Olivia and Ben are instantly attracted to each other and both are finding it hard to stay away.  I liked the story up to that point.  It then got weird because Ben’s new wife was someone from grade school that got picked on and she was basically blackmailing him to help her son play hockey…this storyline made no sense and I wasnt sure where it was going and at the same time Ben aka Mr. Committment Phobe was ga-ga over Olivia and her invitro/baby scenerio.  It just didnt work for me.  I wanted hot hockey player falls for lawyer her cant have but it just had these weird side stories that did not fit in at all and I felt took away from their potential hot story.  The book kinda lost me at that point although I did finish it out of curiousity but was not what I thought it was going to be.  😦
