Loved this emotional journey with a touch of forbidden. Love finds a way even in the weeds and rocky places. Dani has experienced something so tragic that no one should ever have to live through. Despite that she’s still here, still living and it’s her and her brother going forward in this world. Lachlan Taylor is her guidance counselor, her rock, her confidante. I loved the feel of destiny sort of guiding Dani and Lachlan along to their meeting…their easy friendship. I also adored her friends Ansel and Sasha and Sage’s over-protectiveness. He always made me smile. Great story of healing, friendship and falling in love.
